Ostagar is still my favorite part of the game so far.

I also liked the end of Redcliffe battles when the soldiers shoot flaming arrows into the funeral boats. So much like the movie Eulogy.

A killer twist would of been if they had one of your NPC party members died in this battle too. Games need to be darker. Though I agree witht he guy that said deep roads need to be longer, to me it's the longest play through section, but after 5 play throughs now they are getting shorter and faster....lol since I kinda know where all teh bads are hideing. They should of put in more time for the finsih scenes instead of just text...

more Darker games?....than there would be no more humans because they dont see the point in making children because there is no hope....so think before you write something m8.

If a helpful thread is resurrected, there's no harm in it. I can see being annoyed if an inane one is, but this one isn't. There are most likely plenty of people who just got the game for Christmas, or birthday, or whatnot. DA:O isn't that old yet.

I was without Internet from the end of October until the 7th of December, and I can't use the internet extensively at work, because most of the time I'm not in any office. It was fun to play blindly and totally unspoiled the first time through, but the battle at Ostagar was tough for me too.

It was quite a while until I figured out when to take control of the other team-members, such as the mage, and I found out about the possibility of letting the dogs out quite by accident. The ogre at the top scared the beejeeses out of me first time around.

As for the battle-field, it made we want to watch LotR - Helms Deep again ;)

The Deep Roads really creeped me out. I was afraid that Helspith would give me nightmares, I wanted to be able to climb that barricade to wring Branka's neck, and seeing the broodmother the first time made me yank my hands of the keyboard.

C'mon you really think that just because there is a sense of no hope people would stop making babies? lol Sorry but you might want to think before you write something m8.
