BTW, how do you like my new avatar? He's my mhn and the guy who's running with Alistair, now. His name is Richard. I made him several years ago for the D&D game I used to run. I fell in love with him and he's my fav character. If I wrote, I'd have to write about him, what he'd say instead of the choices they actually give in the game. My only problem is I don't remember any of the other characters lines...well, I remember a few. Very few and mostly Alistair's. You can tell where MY focus is....lol

Taiyama=Alistair in his feelings of inadequacy lol
Taiyama, give yourself more credit than that. You had me tearing up during the funeral but when they lit the funeral pyre and Leilana and Alistair lost it, so did I! Don't sell yourself short. I had tears dripping off my face and soaking the front of my shirt....and you can't write...Hah!

Yeah, I've been told I'm like Alistair in more ways than one.
Seriously, though, thank you. Your comment made me smile and brightened my day (well, er, night at this point). I think I'll actually go finish my contest entry for Maker's Breath, now...

So you're walking around with roses in your pocket, are lacking something in the lamppost department, and 5000 teenage girls are writing stories about your cutness and awsomeness?
Jest apart, give yourself more credit, you definitely got something going in your writing.

I'm so glad. I like to make people smile...or laugh...or both. It's kind of hard to laugh when you're not smiling....Taiyama wrote...

There's nothing wrong with that, Taiyama, waiting for marriage before...you know. And no I don't mean 'seen a basilisk, ate jellied ham, or licked a lamppost in winter'. LOLTaiyama wrote...
While I cannot claim to have roses in my pocket nor will I EVER have ANY teenage girls writing stories about me, if by "lacking something in the lamppost department" you mean "Am I a virgin?" in which case that answer is "yes". Christian waiting for marriage and all that. But what I meant by that comment was that I share his general dorkiness (though I'm nowhere near as adorkable as he is), loyalty, fixation on duty, and tendency towards self-deprecation.
But thanks, Olwaye. Means a lot to hear you say that.
And the rest of those qualities are adorable, no matter who you are; some-lucky-body will appreciate them. As I keep telling you, don't sell yourself short.

And like the others have said, nothing wrong with sharing traits with Alistair.

And by the way, after doing two updates of Tales of Taiyama Surana, a new chapter for this is up next. I won't be getting it done until Wednesday, though. I've got a tough schedule: a big speech worth 25% of my grade in that class, a test, and a paper. Goody.

... Oh wait. I had to write a speech for my art show and give it in front of a room full of strangers as a requirement for graduation. Nevermind.
Er, in any case... Good luck!

And you know, it just occurred to me that I neglected to explain the Christian symbolism in the second chapter. It's really not that complicated, though. How many days did Alistair mention that it rained? And how many days was it between Christ's death and His resurrection (well, SUPPOSED resurrection, to be fair)? I'm just implying that a savior died and with the rain gone and the group heading back out under Alistair's leadership, a new savior has risen.

Right, it's like I've said before: of course God has a sense of humor, just look at puberty! *ba-dum-tish*
And I'm fine, thank you very much. Got a new air conditioning installed in my trailer since the old one died and fixed some leaks in the water pipes (for the second time--I swear, we should have just replaced the entire network of pipes when we first got here; I hate this crummy trailer of mine. But yeah, besides that, doing great. How are you?

As for my weekend... Meh. Worried about a few friends, but I know it's more likely me being worrisome than them being in too much stress. Going to play some ME2 soon to try and get my mind off of it.
@Taiyama: You got new AC too, huh? We just had the upstairs AC replaced last week. It died on us, but it was about 11 years old anyway. AC is a MUST have if you live in the South, as I'm sure you know. xD

By the way, out of curiosity, was pollen covering absolutely everything over there when Spring began like it was over here? 'S awesome, especially in the early mornings when I had this wonderful dew-pollen concoction on my windshield that left marvelous streaks when I used the windshield wipers.
