Ok, so I just had to rebuy ME1 on Steam as for some gay reason I couldn't load my original copy as I just changed my Motherboard. JESUS! How I despise EA! Thank god that they have seen the light and ended this online activation crap.
Still, for the old games that have it, it's a problem.
So as I bought a new copy on Steam, I was just wondering what's up with BDtS? If I install it on a Steam version does it also have no more activation issues or is that still stuck wth 3 activations and no deauth tool?
Anyone?

You know you could have simply contact EA to get more activations, right?

For the same of £12, I'd sooner not bother. EA have TERRIBLE customer service, and now I don't have any activation limits.
That doesn't stop me lamenting the ever more rediculous methods of DRM that companies will use that actually promote more piracy than they stop.

BDtS still has activation limits on Steam. (It may be 5 and not 3, I'm not sure.)
And to answer your next question, no, the EA deauth tool does not work on BDtS. (Come on everyone, slow clap for EA...)
