Hi,
The Player Profile Diagnostics tells me that there are 75 screenshots in my on-line storage, but in fact there are only 74. Anything I can do to correct this? Messing with the character profiles didn't help since screenshot count is not connected with the profiles so deleting them won't help.
Oh and I don't really want to delete all the screenshots, especially not if I'm not 100% sure this would fix the problem.

The diagnostics report is the most accurate persona status available. Most likely a mismatch is caused by an error somewhere else. I do not know if deleting all your screenshots would clear up your problem but I do know it is the only way to get rid of screenshots. Have you (very) recently deleted one or more screenshots? It is not uncommon for the request to fail but for the screenshot to temporarily disappear from the overview.

No I didn't delete any recently, the count is wrong for a long time already. I also stopped automatic uploading of screenshots because the storage was getting full and I wanted more control about whats being uploaded.
