Just curious if DAO is going to have more social elements like they have with the CC. It's been quite fun seeing everyone's characters and was curious if Bioware is going to keep the social scene rolling along. Perhaps make it possible for us to make our own quests for players to run through, etc.
So far so good though with the CC, really fun.
How strong will DAO social network be once we go into the game...solo

It is possible to make your own quests for people to run though. That is what the mod toolset is for, and there are quite a few features on this board designed to support modders.
Whether this will be the forum that serious modders actually USE, or whether a fansite will turn out to be more important for that, I don't know
In my experience, while mod communities may chat on official forums, they usually customize their own sites for mod sharing.

I hope this website will be strong when we get into the game. This website will be in Open Beta until the game launches right? Hopefully the website has some good improvements before it officially launches out of Open Beta.

I think the BSN will get stronger as this game is released and as they add new games to the network (ME2). Also, once the BSN officially gets out of beta, it should be stronger.

But for sure, this place will be forgotten during the busy hours we'll be playing the game ! But I intend to post regularly my progress here, and seek advice for class choices etc And it will be so great to share here how amazed we will be by some turning points in the story...

I wonder though if after you play the game pretty much everything you will want to talk about could spoil something to others though right? So would people start using the Spoilers forum area as a general talk about the game area?

Of course, if you're talking about plot you should always be considerate to others who may not have played the game. If asking for help and such you could specify up to what point you wish to be spoiled for.
And I certainly hope it's active for modders, at the very least as a sort of 'hub' where people can come to find and talk about mods... *points at signature*

Glad to see there won't be any counts of our demise or re-loads in out character stats.

Hopefully? This will be the largest base of module learning, making and distribution.

It's certainly not bad for a beta.

I have a hunch this place is going to be quite busy once the game is out and the mods are made/done

I like this place, Even if I'll spend my time playing in the evenings I'll probably come over at lunchtime to check it out. To me this place shows that Bioware is really trying to create something special with this game have a real community in spite of it being singleplayer.

I like how BioWare is trying to add this social networking dimension to DA, it's nice to have the possibility of having a laugh about something that happend ingame etc. Not to mention DA holiday party in December... I'd expect some nice mods for that occasion.
