I've been playing the game today and noticed that after a certain point in the story (the Redcliffe events), none of my game saves will load if I stop the game. I've tried to find out the specific instance as to when the saves stop loading and it seems to be at the point where you reach the castle. I stopped to do the DLC for the Shale character before continuing the Redcliffe events and my files are no good. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there something I can do to fix it?
Initially when the problem occurred, the Dragon Age servers were down. I made sure I was connected the next time I tried saving and have been ever since. Any suggestions or any direction given as to who to email/call/fax w/e to help me get the saves fixed is greatly appreciated. I hope I don't have to return this game.
360...game saves damaged and will not load.

I have also played the game today and 3 times now I cannot save my files without them becoming "damaged" and then unusable... screwing me out of hours of gameplay and in the first case 2 days of playing.
It started just when I engaged the dragon during the sacred urn quest and I had to reload a save game from when I did the warden's keep DLC because 3 files were damaged... now after reloading that save game 3 hours later SIX GAME FILES became damaged and I would have to reload again from the same warden's keep file. 2 hours after that, same thing. Until there is a fix for this for the 360 version I will not be playing this game and I will be cancelling my ME2 preorder. This is way to game breaking for me to ignore and frankly it has really pissed me off, this is just not acceptable to me.

Oh, and for the record, Bioware your search function stinks. I had to manually find this post by going through it page by page.

Are they actually damaged and it says so, or do you get a "DLC is not on this memory device" message? If it's the latter, try here: http://daforums.biow...35&topic=703093
I've not heard of a "damaged" save on the 360, just DLC errors causing problems with loading save files.

Well I tried the fix that was in the post you gave above on the off chance it would work and I am afraid it doesn't let me load any of the "damaged" save files i have. Thanks for trying to help tho. I think this is a different problem all together. Other 360 user are having the same problem I am, and I was told the PC version got a patch to fix a similiar problem but I have not found any information on the new patch that they fixed anything like that, unless it was a stealth fix.
But I can't justify playing a game like this when hours or even days of playing can be wiped out by "damaged" save files.

I too, am having this problem, except..my one character ( Mage - Arcane Warrior) that has over 90hrs on it (and I just played last night) won't load..I'm on the landsmeet questline and have 4 separate saves for this character!!! (3 are my saves, one is the autosave) Not a single one will load.. all say "damaged or missing file". However, all my other different characters (with much less time on them) will load.
what's the point of having multiple saves for protection in case a save does get corrupted (all at different points) if none will then load?
Also, I tried looking up using the search feature under tech support for the 360, but nothing comes up.?!?
