Right so I download the DLC's for free on Xbox live, the next day (When I am not connected to xbox live) I play the game and I head to that place where the stone prisoner quest is supposed to be, I accept the quest, yet a message comes up saying that I have to be signed into xbox live to download content. This confused me since I had already downloaded the content, yet when I look for the content on my hard drive, there is no content there is just the Dragon age saves, none of the downloaded content is there.

I hear there has been trouble with DLC, is there some way to actually get it to work?

all dlc for Dragon Age should be stored on your Xbox's hard drive under the Dragon Age Folder if you are looking for it go into the settings and look under Games - Dragon Age

You do not need to activate it or anything once it is fully downloaded you should be able to play it regardless if your are connect to xbox live or not as I play mine while off xbox live all the time. I would just make sure once you download it that the files are actually there sometimes during a download something happens with your internet connection causing and interrupt so the file does not save properly I would also recommend not playing the game or anything at that matter while downloading any dlc as that can sometimes cause problems pending on your internet speed/connection.

Once it is downloaded to your harddrive to access it you just need to log into the game and play Stone Prisioner you have to visit a trader over near Orzammar and he will give you the quest for Shale. The blood dragon armor you will be given the chest piece the rest will be available to buy at the party camp vendor.

None of these content is fully available to you until you complete the origin story, ostagar, and then lothering after you complete these 3 areas the game actually opens up to you.

hope this helps

Thanks, but I sorted it out myself. You have to purchase the content from the downloadable menu in Dragon age, not on the market place. Once you purchase the content from the downloadable menu in Dragon age, you have to click onto it to download it, this I did not know, however once I downloaded the content it all worked even off xbox live. After reading some other people's posts I understand that that was the whole problem.

I've experienced no problems so far with the DLC and perhaps I never will experience problems with the DLC's as other people have.
