For some reason the character creation screen doesn't have my imported face from me1 instead it show it as the default face. . This is the 2nd character I've imported the 1st never had this problem.

I have the same problem -I try to import my third character - her face is male sheps - when starting game it changes to canon femshep. Can this be fixed?

Strange I just tried it again and its working now

can you at least tell what you did?:/ saved again me1 file, refreshed game files? I don't know what to do... I liked the way my ME1 femshep looked...

I had this problem as well. I've tried it with 2 or 3 different characters and got the same Default Face result every time. Pretty annoying... I haven't been able to recreate the face manually very well and it's such a pain to sit through all the opening stuff every time you want to retry.



Did you guys ever figure anything out?

nope. I have no idea. I just gave up and recreated faces of all my imported characters....

it's strange though that all of my shepards (male/female) at import have face of default male shep

I figured out what was wrong with mine. Apparently this problem can be caused if you disable some of the movies involved in the opening sequence. If you re-enable all the movies (or just do a reinstall of the game like I did), that should fix it.



That's what worked for me, anyway!

Personally, I strongly believe that to be a coincidence. No logical reason that would be it. That and the fact that it made no difference to me. Still can't get imported face to show.
