The odd thing is that his room is the one most decorated with personal effects. Miranda has an office, Jack has a messy bed. That's the extent of the personalization of the other squad members. Grunt and Thane's rooms are barren.
Yeah, I thought that was a bit ironic and it's actually the reason why I don't mind him not having his own conversation wheel anyways, he feels much more a person who 'lives' in that area of the ship, rather that just being pasted onto the background.
I always assumed they didn't go that route with Zahead, not because they were too lazy to implement a conversation wheel but wanted to open up ways to give character backgrounds. Why would that have been harder than his random stories and personal effects? I appreciate they used him as an experimental way to convey a character without pestering them to death with 20 question via the wheel.
I got the gist of the character just fine, without giving him the 3rd degree. I would have felt silly grilling Zahead:
How are you feeling? none of your business, f off
Tell me about your mother? I did your mother last night
Why are you here? Because I'm getting paid
You seem angry, can I help you? F off
You seem lonely? Offering to buy me a hooker? no?, f off
There are more ways to get to know a character, than just clicking the wheel over and over untl all the options disapear.
