I've heard that the Sqaudmates are pretty freaking amazing with it though.

As someone who has the Incisor, I can confirm it's not an amazing rifle. Not really tried it on squad mates but it's really not worth all this fuss.

I've heard some say the same thing about the Collector armor, and yet everyone would kill to have it were it free to be had.

Even if it sucks, people just want everything. I never use my Terminus Armor or Blackstorm because I can get better stats and do more damage with the N7 platform and nuke launcher, but I keep both around because I don't want less variety.

From what I've read in this post and others, the main reason people want the Incisor is for their squadmates.  It burns through ammo too fast for the player to use it effectively.  Squadmates are unhindered by the need for ammo (or thermal clips, if you prefer).

Incisor is awesome for sniper-wielding squadmates (esp. Archangel).

I got mine through EA's customer support live chat after 3 times (couple months ago). On the last try (obviously), an understanding and caring person got me a code for it. When other EA chat people say they have no info, or they're not allowed, etc., they are full of crap. If they know what you are talking about and willing to do it (the hard one), you can get it.

EDIT: corrected some minor details I fudged on when I was rushing to write this.

Collector armor is horrible, too

But really, I'm not keen on the idea of Incisor being made free. It just sort of devalues the Digi Deluxe edition of ME2, because not even the Collector Armor is worth £10 extra.

Well, there is a slippery slope now since the Infernor Armor is available through the Equalizer Pack.  They may as well go ahead and release the Incisor Rifle. 

The fact that they continually refuse to make it available though Cerberus Network helps perpetuate the myth that it is somehow a mysterious and powerful weapon when in actuality it is best served as a squadie upgrade and even then, you'll end up replacing it with Viper in short order.

As far as stats are concerned. But on easy, you may as well go commando if that's your role play.

Collector armor is just awesome. I wish I'd gotten it.

The Incisor fits that category, too. Considering the Mantis looks retarded and the other two are only so-so, I want me some LMG-lookin' sniper rifles.

This is great news, with the Incisor Rifle, I will officially have all the bonus dlc. I thought I got shafted when Xbox had that marketplace issue in the morning and before I even knew it was happening, it was over. As for other bonus dlc, I got the Blood Dragon Armor for pre-ordering DA:O, and I'm glad I did, another EA/Bioware Epic! I drink alot of Dr. Pepper; its my favorite, so I had no problem getting the three promos that came with that. I own the Collector's Edition so I've got Collector Armor and since I pre-ordered from Gamestop I've also got Terminus gear. Thankfully the equalizer pack came out, so I was also able to get that coveted Inferno Armor. Now with the news of the Incisor being available soon I'm ecstatic, hopefully it will come out with some other goodies like the Inferno Armor did with the Equalizer pack, anyway I'm rambling and somewhat gloating, but thanks Bioware, you're the best!
