Because RTO sales were down and people thought there was no reason to buy them, so they made the items importable.

Even if it was- they could have just dropped some new character into the game. I think Duncan is dead- despite how much we all wish it wasn't so.

Yeah your probably right, I think he is dead- but I suppose he could be alive...it's just highly unlikely.

They did not show the axe collide, you get distracted from watching when your overrun by darkspawn.
But it is most likely he died, I stated the reasons why they probably did it like this in that other thread, and I don't feel like repeating myself xP

you dont find his body when you go back to ostagar his body is not their. sure i understand that alot of bodys werent there darkspawn probably did somthing with thjem like burn thme or eat them, but from a story point of veiw not finding your dead teacher is pretty lame. makeing me think he could very well be alive

No, it would be "lame" if you found him. Unless he is a reanimated corpse that I have to fight, I want nothing to do with him. If he shows up I'm going to turn off my game and cry. I would think Bioware is not the kind of company that would stoop to such a stupid plot point.

No! Did not know this was even a possibility! I freekin love this game with all of its different dialogue options. I wasnt even aware until just recently that you could kill that barkeeper (I forget his name) in Redcliffe other then making him fight in the battle. I want to throw a dagger at him as well!

He is worse then Alistair, and Alistair is not the brightest. Alistair at least tries, all you can get from the Dwarf is "Heh....whatcha doin'?....hey.....ur hot...."

(I understand why it wasn't in the game...but don't you wish the rogue had an ability where they throw a dagger? MAybe have it equip up to say 10 daggers, and if you throw them you can loot them from the corpse afterwards.)

Not a huge fan of Oghren either but he has gotten a chuckle out of me once or twice. His conversations with Wynne for example but that is another post altogether.....

I never had him around much either- I LIKED him, but he never seemed to....fit in with the rest of my party.
