I am having some trouble with the 'Paint Texture' part.  Only four different textures come up, grass, two different dirts and some huge cobblestones.  I found a list of in-game materials here:
http://social.biowar...hp/Terrain_list
and wanted to use them when creating my level, because I just can't get it to look right since there is meant to be a lot of rocky outcroppings, not just grass and dirt, but I can't seem to figure out how to add them onto the Material Palette.  Can anyone help?  I have searched through the wiki and have not found anything that helps.

Just right click on the Palette and choose "Insert New Material". You can start typing in the name to filter down the choices. It's kind of described at this page in the wiki.

Just out of curiosity, how can you add custom materials in the toolset?

You use the material editor and insert a new palette library, then insert new palette object. Add your DDS image to the diffuse texture and then post the selection to local. You may also have to empty your export directories in order to see it from the level editor. I remember it was a bit of a process to see it from the level editor but I eventually got it in there.

With so many free textures around the net, I guess one can get all kind of results with some experimentation. Thanks.

Maybe something is wrong with my toolset, because right clicking anywhere on the materials palette does absolutely nothing.

I have reinstalled the toolset, and I am still having the same issue being unable to access the other terrain materials.  Can I just check with those that know how to do this that I am in fact attempting to do it correctly.
I have been clicking the Texture Paint icon Posted Image which brings up the popup with the four different materials on it:

Now, it is this I have been trying to right click on to try and add a new material, and it does nothing.  I feel I am not doing the right thing.  Can someone help me out by explaining it.  The way I am feeling today, you might need to use small words. lol

Ah, well my level does not have the little palette icons in the bar. How do I add one, or make it show? This is what I have right now:

Open the one called "Terrain Mesh" and right-click "Palette" under that.
