I am not sure what I am doing wrong.  I am so excited to have some quality Xbox time now that the kdis are in bed, and my ME1 file does not show up with the import feature.

I completed ME1, have a level 52 character.  What is odd - my game "plus" is not an option when trying to load a game on ME1.  Does this mean I have to play ME1 all over again?  I don't mind, just thought I could import the character.

My only auto save is from "bring down the sky" - and my only saved game is from that as well.  I launched the game, went back to the Normandy, as I was playing my 2nd playthru just to get to level 60, but never finished it.  Does this mean that the save game for the final Saren level (end game) has to be on the HDD for the ME2 to work with the import?

No sir. Do I need to have the save game of the LAST end battle on the HDD? I am guessing I must have deleted it. The only 2 saves I have are from BDTS and an auto save from aftert the end game when I started up a second play thru.

Yeah, just continue from your Bring Down the Sky save. I know it sucks, but at least it's better than having to start over from scratch. ME2 won't read any of your ME1 saves unless they have been completed. Incomplete saves are discounted.

1-in mass effect 2's directory : in SAVE folder make ME1 folder------> E:\\Mass Effect 2\\Save\\ME1

2-copy and paste all save game's mass effect 1 into ME1 folder------> example: Char_01-45-2-1-0-14-3-2010-23-7.MassEffectSave and .....

3-RUN mass effect 2 game

5-New Game and ....

you cant erase online ranks like on halo or cod, but you can delete data like campaign progress. just go to the My Xbox channel (new dashbaord) then go over to system settings and go to Memory. choose your mempry device and go to Games. find your game data and delete it
