I'm still saddened that no one has even mentioned the Legacy of Kain series vampires yet...

Anyway, I come before you today to present a truly wonderful, educational argument.

With imagery like that, why bother arguing against Twilight verbally? =P

Now go do yourselves all a favour and watch this instead...

Haha, evidence? Ask anyone under the age of 21 pretty much what they think vampires should be like and they'll describe Edward - as for Buffy vampires I like them just fine, they are flawed as I think they should be. Meyers tries to make hers this perfect 'good' vampire, and even the ones that are supposedly 'bad' are laughable. There is a standard that has started, at least I believe so, on what vampires should be like or at least similar to - with Dracula.

But as others have said, feel free to enjoy it - I'll just be glad when this whole Twilight fad is over.

Uh, I don't know about that...I'd like to think that people can differentiate between stereotypical vampires and Twipires. Image IPB

All I know is that I wished the 'sparkliness' of Meyer's campires worked in the same way as daylight for normal vamps.

Sure would have saved ourselves a lot of arguing.  *Happily watches one sparkle before turning to dust*

Good food in your stomach makes any film; even the crappiest one, ejoyable.

Don´t get me wrong, I love Z-Series films (Troma FTW!) , but I could not stand those if not in good company and some form of nice eddibles. :D

You might want to remove the like since there is a nude woman there.
they might consider that pornography

Huffingtonpost is a newsblog, not a porn site.  But sure, to play it safe, I'll change it to say - goolge "Robert Pattinson vaginas."

lol, figures. The guy that nearly every mindless teenage girl wants turns out to be gay.

To be honest, why can't we make things simpler and just call him Dark Cedric? I was under the impression that after Voldemort killed him, he was secretly risen as a vampire to carry out the dark lord's most truly diabolical plans that not even Rowling knew about. And who knows? Maybe the Twilight author found out about it after slipping a few pills in his margarita, while they chatted away at a lonely single's bar, before taking him back home to hump a few times. Makes perfect sense...

Good question. I had to read the first book for a class (Studies in Fiction, and we focused on vampires), and can't bring myself to read another in the series. The writing was horrid, Edward is creepy as all get out, and Bella's character is an insult to women. I will never touch that piece of crap again.
