[Drained Warrior]

As I have been playing with all three platforms I have started to wonder... can you actually heal people that are on your side but are not temporary or permanent companions? I cannot seem to be able to direct my healing spells like in pc to heal friendly people while playing with consoles - the game automatically assumes I want to heal the companions. How do you heal those outside your own group in ps3 or is it even possible?
