I know you are lurking around these forums somewhere, and I just wanted to open a brief topic about how much I've enjoyed the Dragon Age setting thus far.
From the strict rules of the Chantry, to the wandering Dalish clans, to the creepy, claustrophobic labyrinth that is the Deep Roads -- I love it all.
If I saw you in real life, I'd kiss you right on the mouth.

P.S.
I'm really looking forward to Awakening.

Shouldn't this go in the off topic thread? It really has nothing to do with Awakening.

I thought this was going to be DA/Spy fanfic. I'm disappointed.

Is the choice for a dead warden REALLY to either come back to life WITH NO EXPLANATION or risk running into people who are dead in your canon and who have come back to life WITH NO EXPLANATION?

Please tell us that at the very least, the Orlesian Warden playthrough is designed to NOT CONTRADICT any Origins playthough. Otherwise, for those of us who play these games as a story, Bioware has just killed off Dragon Age for us and made it an exclusive product from here on out for a particular section of the population.

You died.... GAME OVER Mario.

If you hate it so much  shut up, don't revive yourself and don't kill off your main character next time you play a game which might have a sequel.
Really, it is common sense.

The prophet of Maker David Gaider is disappointed that you choose to express your devotion in such a chantry unsactioned way.

I am going to have to go on an exalted march now. ;)

David is a writer. The Ultimate Sacrifice continuity is a programming flaw, and has nothing to do with him nor his writing team.

I guess you don't know this...Habitat...BUT ..the Ultimate Sacrifice is a LEGITIMATE ENDING..it also has EVERYTHING TO DO with the main campaign.

Wardens are taught from the get-go..that that is their goal, to die in service for their country...to stop the Blight by killing the Archdemon........it is a Warden's duty to do thusly...as it is ONLY a warden that can kill an Archdemon and make sure its soul doesn't transfer to a darkspawn to start all over again..

So telling people to shut up...doesn't change the facts.     People who are unhappy about the US ending....with no credit carrying forward for their dead warden...are unlikely to be concerned for the most part about reviving their dead warden.

Instead what they want..is "some" sort of acknowledgement of their heroic sacrifice..porting over to Awakening..WITHOUT mysteriously coming back to life for no reason at all.

So common sense...in this case,  would be to play all possible endings...Ultimate Sacrifice is one of those endings..

Soooo...what were you going on about again? ^^

Well, maybe if David Gaider weren't such a sharp-tongued nuisance, the programmers would have felt like doing their jobs better.

Better a sharp tongue than a blunt one. Or so I hear, from those who have been kissed.

You forgot to mention his goatee. That puts him in the same category of awesome as Teagan, Kane from command and conquer, and myself.

Is it too much to ask that I be able to express my desire to kiss David Gaider -- in a totally heterosexual way -- without all of this verbal cross-fire?

That has nothing to do with Orlesian Warden Habitat

We can already play as a resurrected Warden its like you are arguing against the feature that is actually included in Awakenings

I want what the rest of the story endings get...my decisions and choices porting over to Awakening..just like  yours will.

I want continuity...if you don't understand that word..use a dictionary.

I don't want plot holes........we have one here with the US ending.

I want what was promised me..at the end,  an honourable burial at Weisshaupt...after all I DID do my duty.

I also want the statue in my honour,  I also want that..if Alistair was king..that it shows that he still is..when I access Awakening.

I want my decisions for that 83 hour play-through to matter.

Thats all...just want what the rest of you are getting...nothing different. :)

In these forums, even saying someone is nice, or worthy of respect will get you dubbed a brown noser and trial by fire.

Hell, even being POLITE makes you a totally emo fanboi.

That is what they tell me
