It seems to me that Maric and the human male warden are a lot alike. Both or kings(warden king consort);both have crazy wives(Anora for the warden and Rowan for Maric);both are very unfaithful to their wives and have at least one child with someone that left them(Morrigan for the Warden and Fiona for Maric). So do you all see the similarities in them?

Uhh...no. Since when was Rowan "crazy"? Or Anora, for that matter?
Not to mention that Maric, despite their marriage being arranged, cared deeply for Rowan and went mental for a while when she died.

No, it is clearly stated in the books that Maric loved Rowan more that anything and locked himself in his room and barley ate for weeks until Loghain talked to him. And since when in Rowan or Anora crazy?......

Rowan probably died of the blight. They don't say if she actually went crazy (iirc).

I think of it more as Alistair = Maric, Warden = Loghain. (Young Loghain, that is, not the man he becomes during the game).
