Power of Blood... Yes, it was a lie, NO transfer!

Isn't this just a flat-out lie by Bioware? I remember clearly being told that they do transfer.
This is quite dissapointing, really. I think that the unique powers were alot more valuable than a set of items.
So was this a screw-up or fantasy? Or just a piece of marketing BS?

Maybe someone in the Dev department needs to investigate this.

The example was a mage who missed her Blood Bolt.
I am not sure if they are recinded from your character screen or simply do not function.
I would at least like to see them on-screen.

Hum you sure its not bugged? Did you try to report it and see, because I DISTINCTLY remember Fernando stating that the blood abilities would port over no problem.
It's very nice that you can distinctly remember it, but for those of us who never heard him say this in the first place, a link or some kind of proof would be nice. <_<

By the way, we're laughing at you, not with you.
Edit: Since you appear to lack the ability to do any research on your own, it's under "Why don’t my DLC items carry forward?"

Perhaps you should consult the threads of the people who actually have the game...
As in, the Power of Blood does not work in Awakening...

Yes, but that does not mean it was not supposed to import. So they did not lie. It is a glitch.
And I don't want to be spoiled, so I will not be consulting those threads.
And thirdly, the man I was responding to was implying that the devs never said it was to be imported. When we clearly had proof that they did, infact, say it was to be imported.

It doesn't work. The animations transfer over but the abilities do nothing. Its bugged and Bioware may or may not create a patch to rectify this. For the pc I'm thinking a third-party bug fix is more feasible.
Probably, but they might release a patch when they release a patch for WK and SP. But we don't even know if they are going to release patches for them, they themselves aren't even sure, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
But since the animations are there, I imagine it would be pretty simple to fix.

Out of curiosity what would the potential patches for WK and SP fix? Item transfers?
That's what they implied. I would think that the items would be able to import. Apparently something in the codes don't mesh with Awakening. Us getting the RtO items was a recent developement, so I hear.

I hope they fix it eventually of course, but in the mean time, I doubt whether the temporary lack of Power of Blood will be a crippling blow for anyone. It's basically a bonus ability anyway.
Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. If it didn't import at all I wouldn't care, though I would understand why others would since they paid for it. But I never used the abilities. But I will miss the armor, I love it a LOT.

As Feraele has already commented, this sounds like a bug. I'm sure it will eventually get fixed in a patch. Until then, there's always the toolset. Somebody will likely make a mod to fix it fairly quickly.

I don't know why I bother.
The whole point of the picture was to illustrate how stupid I felt
at the relevation that it was in the FAQ thread. But if you're going to revert to childhood and jump
to conclusions, that isn't acceptable. I'm not at all happy with your

I hate posting so seriously, it's

To off-set the neutral-faceness of the previous:

/EDIT
Odd that it restructured my post like that. Does it have something to do with embedding pictures?
