Yeah pretty much..I don't rely on it exclusively..but its nice to have.

I would appreciate it if Bioware made an honest sticky to say what will and what won't work in Awakening, so it's easy to figure out. As an Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage that didn't use any DLC armour or gear I'm not totally bothered that they won't appear, but the loss of stuff like Power of Blood is irritating. Bloody Grasp become one of my standby damage spells since I got it.
Irrespective of this, I do have to admit that Bioware don't have many others to blame for this sticky situation - when you're charging for DLCs, barring the items from being used was never going to be a popular decision no matter how you slice it.

It transfered and works fine on 3 of my imported characters, it also works fine for some friends of mine.

@ Smaaen90: Well it isn't for me. The skills icons (for my rogue) show up in the talent tab yes, but the are labeled "class not found" and the actual skill is missing. Meaning you click "Tainted Blade", the animation is shown, but nothing else happens. It seems like the skills icon plus the attached character animation are imported. The actual skill defining skript however, is missing.

My second run-through everything worked as it should have? I could use the blood abilities, but I realized that the new abilities were much better than those..and so didn't end up using the blood abilities.
I also don't use mods (for now) not sure if that has any bearing on things or not.
