I have been reading the "how to move the camera" tutorial on wiki, and I have tried the hold ALT+Left/Right to move the map around so i can place vegitation, hills and even water else where, but I cannot move the map for some stupid reason, is there something I am doing wrong?

Area editor: Hold CTRL and left mouse drag for pan. Right mouse drag for rotate
Level editor: WASD + Middle mouse with mouse movement

Note the icons in the toolbar, it could be set to ALT instead of WASD. Edit: In your case it seems to be set to WASD.

W, S, A, D are the buttons at your keyboard. you can also just press the middle mouse button (mousewheel) and move your mouse. sometimes there's a bug and your movement will get very slow. in this case first press your mousewheel, hold it down and then press ctrl. now your movement will get way faster ;)

Ok well that fixed that (LOL - such a noob) - so now I am not sure if I was blind to the tut but how do you rotate the map from left to right or right to left?
