Bioware.....what was the point of making her suit so tight you could see her ******?

It says on the box in the UK, quite clearly, restricted blah blah bla no one under the age of 15!

So the question becomes why are you letting your minor view a product which has been classified above his age group and do you really, honestly expect that your son is not googling a lot worse in terms of pics.

As for Miranda's suite being tight, for me, its asthetics, people that get worked up over that need to address the real issue and in 99% of instances, considering that zomg pixel toe is not really pornographic in any real sense the issue, is you.

Frankly at that age even the slightest hint of an attractive member of (insert gender of choice here) can be enough to inspire the ideas that provoke a reaction. There doesn't have to be nudity or sex or even revealing clothing. I think the game is perfectly fine for a game rated M. It's up to an individual parent to decide if their kid should be playing or watching something with that level of violence and sexuality in it.

A real person could get away with wearing Miranda's out fit more places than they could wear Jack's belt-top.

I don't care if my husband likes to look at Miranda's butt (he does), it's not like Jacob's outfit isn't pretty tight too (though I'm drooling all over Garrus myself.)

I guarantee you most of the people replying on here aren't of the appropriate age, ergo vast unyielding plethora the "character for ME3" threads.

The UK box clearly states  "age rating 15", so if you were watching a dvd with a similar age rating, would you then complain if it contained content that you thought was inappropriate for a 13 year old?

Do you think sending an excited, possibly aroused, 13 year old male to his room at this juncture was the wisest course of action? Did it even occur to you to exit the game and discuss his reaction with him?

The age rating is there for a reason and to simply ignore it and then complain beggars belief.

ps For some seriously adult content in a computer game then play BG2 with the Kiara/Zaiya mod installed.

so OP, what are you going to do? Go and whine and try and get more videogames censored? There's a certain disbarred attorney from Florida you'd probably get along with quite well in that case.

Interesting. Would it be popular among all the critics if Miranda would run with a big cloud of pixels around her waist or a simple black square would be enough? Hmm...

ITT, a bunch of prudes.

There's no reason a game made for adults can't go where movies can go. It's not like every character has ******, but ****ing because ONE character does? Come on, let's be mature here.

And it's funny noone brought up Jack's ******-strap yet.

The day I take strippers with me everywhere I go I'll agree with you.

Unfortunately I like my crew with proper clothing when I go out.

This is a Red Herring. We were arguing about Miranda's suit design, NOT whether or not she should wear it in combat. Use your head please. Don't change the subject.

And yes, it's dumb that no-one wears armor in combat.

Bioware data-mines these forums for improvements, so there's a good chance we may see DLC outfits in the near future that might 1) make tactical sense, 2) combine both attractiveness and understated sexiness. Miranda might pause a problem as her (really nice) bubblebut is part of the model, rather than only a skin. Not impossible to fix, just more complex.

As a side note, of the female armor sets in ME1 did flatteringly underline bottom cheeks... and still do, if Ashley's Phoenix heavy armor on Horizon is any reference.

As a temporary fix pending squadmate armor costumization in ME3, an alternate "armor" outfit DLC would be nice. I'm sure Bioware's concept artists would have some ideas on this.

I concur. Bring back squaddie armour.

As much as I like dat ass, combat missions is not the time to prance around in lycra and heels.

I don't want squaddie armor back. Keeping highly unique outfits is great since it makes it easy to tell who's who (which I believe was the stated intent of going the way they did). It would be nice to see the characters have "casual" and "combat" outfits though like Shepard does.

I think most of you misunderstood the reason I made him leave the room.  I am of th emind that violence and nudity/sex in video games does NOT make people do things or act a certain way.  I sent him to his room because he was being completely obnoxious about it.  Hey, we got 2 other sleeping children in the house and he was making too much noise.

I agree. most people are misunderstanding here.

ME is a cinematic experience that is just as much fun to watch as it is to play. and frankly, if it was a movie, it would be a PG-13. nothing wrong with the kid sitting next to dad to follow the adventrures of (ugly :P) shepard and his battle for the galaxy. his issue is the fact that his boy was hootin and hollerin while siblings are sleeping. if theyre babies, and you have a baby, you know you dont want them waking up after youve already put them down. dont crucify the guy for being upset that his kid got loud and obnoxious and he didnt want a possible crying baby/ angry wife on his hands. dont tell someone how to raise their kids or be critical of theyre parenting. whats good for one, isnt necessarily good for all. you can raise your kids and allow/ prohibit them however you wish, because they are YOUR children.

besides, it was probably the boys bedtime anyway Image IPB

and as for the bodysuit... ill be honest, im a fan. nothing wrong with appreciating the finer things in life.

but i sure as h3ll wouldnt let my daughter run around in that thing.

No.  Whether you would rate it as PG-13 or not, it was given an M rating for a multitude of things besides the revealing costumes.  The point here is this guy let his 13 year old watch a game rated M, found something he was embarrassed about or thought inappropriate (Surprise) and blamed Bioware.  Typical parent not taking responsibility for his own actions.  End of story.

Yep. Parents always blame it on someone else rather then admitting it was their own fault...

If you're gonna let your 13 year old watch while you play an M-rated game, you've earned what you get. There's a reason games are giving ratings.

And good job handling the situation. Rather than have a mature and likely needed discussion about this kinda stuff with him, just send him away. Bravo

agreed.

sorry, but if your game is rated M and you are concerned your son might see something he shouldn't, don't play when he's around.

don't blame Bioware because you exposed your son to the game.

now, if YOU found it over the top for YOU as the target audience, then fine, say "sheesh, did you really need to shove miranda's girly parts in my face?"

but again, your son is not the target market, as evidenced by the giant rating on the front of the game. complain for yourself if you must, but not for him.

the game is rated M....your son should not have been watching.

are you going to complain on the hbo forums because you son saw you watching crude scenes in Spartacus or True Blood and got rowdy when obviously he should not have been watching it to begin with?

really?
