i just bought mass effect 2 brand new for the xbox 360 and i tryed to activate the cerberis code and when i tryed it said code invalid and i made sure it was the right code.

I dont see any game registered. You sure you bought a legit copy of the game.

I have the same problem, but for PC. I got a card with the code on, but it won't work. It's bugging me=/. And yes, mine is a bought game. And I have registered it.

I purchased game, no card in box, complained to EA, they emailed a Cerberus code, I entered cerberus code in game menu was returned to main menu and it still asks me to redeem my code!!?!? try entering again and it now says the code is used!!!?! am awaiting a further reply from EA as to why this still is not working.
