I can "block" people, but I can still see their posts on the forums. If this was intended, this should be changed.
Block doesn't actually block people?

I think block prevents them from sending private messages, nothing else.

Then that should be changed. If people are getting unwanted personal messages in the first place, that is likely to have resulted from altercations on the forum to begin with anyway.

Bump. Think this is important. The block option needs to actually block people and their posts.

I've added a thread similar to this called Feature Request: Ignore Button. I agree with you Collider, I was reading some posts that I felt were not so much inappropriate as just personally offensive, and so I went into my settings and found the Block this person option and used it on the offensive individual. However, as I discovered, it doesn't really DO anything proactive. So, having had much success with the Ignore option in the Amazon Customer Communities, I've requested this feature be added to the Bioware site.
I know, I know, we should all "be adults" and simply ignore by will those individuals/posts with which we don't agree or which we find offensive. But it would honestly be a lot easier (and less expensive in blood pressure medicine) if we could not just willfully but ACTUALLY ignore users with whom we just don't get along. Overall I think the tone of the forums would be much less hostile with an Ignore option. Here's another vote in support of one!
