I tried to do soldier peak at lvl 20, sophia dropped me a tier 4  veridium set not cool, so i reloaded my older save and played more until i was 22 then came back for sophia, still tier 4, i actived the console and cheated my self to 25 still tier 4. I even try the merchant trick, it isn't workin either. All my other playthrough never has this happen until i upgraded to 1.03 version. Any1 has same problem?

You shouldn't even be getting anything made of veridium at this level if it could scale higher. I really don't know as I don't have Warden's keep, but it sounds like something's very wrong -I think Warden Commander is always supposed to be made of dragonbone-.

i know, everything else i got is dragonbone/skin/thorn, just the damm commander set stay veridium no matter what i lvl i killed sophia

There's always the mod programs like winter's forge or whatever to craft it to level 7....

Since this is a PC only thing I assume it's patch related.

I've been having the same issue, but with Return to Ostagar instead. No matter what I do, I'm stuck with items at tier 4 or so, though only some of them, which is kind of weird. I even reloaded an earlier save and leveled up to 21 or so before doing it, still no dice. I haven't tried selling the stuff to merchants, reloading, and buying it back just yet, so that might work for you.

I'm not totally sure, but it's possible that the item's level gets determined by when the content is installed and not when you first visit the Keep... it would certainly explain the odd behaviour. Either way, I suggest using a mod to make sure you get the best versions of the items.

If I recall correctly, you could sell the armor to the NPC merchant at the keep, (once it's been restored) than rebuy it at a better quality.



Just sell it to him, close shop, Open shop, check if it's dragonbone. If it is, buy it. If its not, close shop, re-open shop and check again. Sometimes you need to check over and over, or rebuy and resell over and over, I forget. Either way, you can use him to convert low tier gear to high tier gear.

done that, over 2 hours of exiting area, closing store, selling and repurchasing. still veridium

i got it, actually it is because of my mod on Improved Atmophere. I deleted the warden armor folder and it went up to dragonbone after i repurchased from merchant in wk
