Seeing as ME3 should be a pretty big affair dealing with the defense of an entire galaxy, we're bound to encounter more interesting characters. Here's a few of my ideas/hopes, share yours and let us know what you think

Personally, I would love to see a few things:

1: A human captain who is just a complete bada**. Think Anderson in his prime, someone who's been watching from the wings for a long time and believed Shepard was right all along.  Cast aside by the Alliance to some god forsaken outpost for not following orders, he could be pulled back into the fray by some important event.

Instead of more "oh explain it again shepard, I don't quite follow you....'Reapers' you say?" Dialogue and interaction, I would love to have this character just walk up to shep and say "It's about damn time they listened to you: What can I do?"

2: Maybe a childhood friend of Shep's. Apart from the rare dialogue reference or the gang missions in ME1, we don't know a lot about his life before the games. It'd be nice to see someone from the past turn up and expand on the backround of our shep.

3: An Elcor Evil mastermind hellbent on the world domination. Something cool along the lines of the biotic god. I can only imagine the ridiculously Evil speech/monologue....lol

Any Ideas? cheers!

More SPECTRE's, whatever their race... whether or not, depending on our decisions in Mass Effect 2, they're going to help Shepard or hunt him down as an enemy of the Council, SPECTRE agents would be great allies/adversaries. And so far, they've been pretty lacking in the series for such a major and high influential "organization" (admittedly, I haven't played Pinnacle Station yet).

Elcor warriors, both as allies and enemies. I've been waiting for this since reading the Codex entries for their warfare tactics and with the heavy weapons, you have no excuse not to add them, Bioware!

Last, some Batarians as good guy. Give them some break...

Elcor soldiers, more Volus head-criminals, Spectre's everywhere...

And Kahlee Sanders, please.

I would like Kahlee Sanders as well. And when we go to the Flotilla, maybe even Gillian Grayson.

For #1 I agree for the most part, but I thought a way to introduce a Turian female is put her in that roll as captain or mission giver in the ship. But adding a captain is also redundant as well because Sheppard is the head of the ship and adding another higher rank officer could cause conflict in command.

For #2  I would maybe change that to a buddy from basic training because of Sheppard’s varying back stories as a child.
For #3 an evil Elcor would just rock Image IPB

Lance Henriksen makes EVERYTHING better.

If the word "Shepard" and "arc" are in the same sentence, I don't care if we have goddamned flashbacks of his childhood at this point.  Give the man/woman SOMETHING Bioware.

Very well said, They do need a more prominent place in the storyline.

itd be great if the council assembled a crack team of spectres to hunt shep down after getting sick of his shenanigans.

Good points; Turian captain would be awesome, as would a buddy from basic training.

Aaaand it looks like I've been turning quotes from Great movie villains into elcor speech for the past 20 minutes...

* maniacal statement* heeeeere's Johnny.

1.Been said already but gillian grayson would be cool. im not saying i want to see her (or any of the other characters from the novels for that matter) to play a significant/minor roll in the finale but would be a really nice tip of the hat to hardcore fans if you get to meet them in a N7 mission or something.
2. some sort of geth leadership would be neat, take the idea of the quarian admiralty board and re tune it to to match their "style". that or something along the lines of a geth ambassador to the citadel/organic space( yes legion sort of fills this roll in ME2 but a dedicated ambassador type character would be very interesting for part 3 imo, hell if legion doesn't return as a squad mate he could fit the roll quite well.)

Shepard, Admiral Hackett has uploaded a new dossier for you to consider before the final Reaper battle.

The dossier indicates that Hudson, the Alliance Corsair, is residing in the city of Edmonton, which is located in the American Union of planet Earth. His precise location is unknown. I would suggest that you check in with the main Alliance headquarters in New New York City for more information.

(Voice actor for Hudson - Zachary Quinto)

Make it happen, BioWare! He doesn't have to play a major role...

Have to have a backup, of course... Legion doesn't always live.

"There was an explosion in the engine room. The damage was contained, but Legion did not survive. I'm sorry, Jeff."

Legion is geth.  You'd have to kill every geth for Legion to die.

In this case, only that mobile platform would be destroyed.
