I thought I read somewhere that the GW Joining Chalice was suppose to be there, did anyone find it?  If so where?  I think you can give it as a gift to Alastair.  I just finished RTO but didn't come across it.

Yes, if you remember the place where you first met Alistair in the game, it's on a circular platform just past there. The platform is not accessible when you first go to Ostagar because pillars are in the way, but some of these have been demolished by the fighting. It's sat right in the middle, hard to miss.
