I just got mass effect 2 and loaded it on my computer, but somehow I
lost the first cd. I've searched everywhere for it but can't find it.
The game won't run without the cd and it's quite annoying. I still have the second cd but that doesn't help any. Any idea what to do?

Other than finding your disc, I think there is a way to play the game without the disc but am unsure where I read how to do it. Google is your friend.

Login with your EA email and enter your CD key. You can download the Digital Distribution version of the game. Requires no cd to be in drive, auto updates etc.

Make sure you login to the game with the same ID or you'll get confused =P

The digital version requires an internet connection, just for your information.

Not permanentely, just for download/install of the game files, activation, updates and if you want the in-game Cerberus news.

That was totally worth digging up a two year old thread.
