Why so many completely different accents among the Quarians. Tali sounds eastern European,a s do a few others, Reeger sounds like a stereotypical American marine, and Morrigan adn Loghain, err 2 of the admirals, are brithsh..
Even taking into consideration growing up on different ships, they shouldn't be THAT different!

Where does he stay since we can't find him anywhere in the ship otherwise?
Has anyone counted the 24 permanent crew that EDI mentions when you check to see how many expendable people there are on-board?

As we know Quarians use whatever scavenged bits of technology they can get their hands on, including the voice box in their suits, which interact with Shepards translators in funny ways.
The real reson? Bioware wanted to use all of their best minor voice actors for the only part of the game no one had a face.

How does Vido's gunship get away at the end of Zaeeds loyalty mission? What is the Normandy doing?
Staying up in space, like it should.
*Cue actual explanation*
If you recall, the Normandy SR-2 is almost twice as big as the SR-1. It can only go near a planet if some mass effect field generators are already there to help guide it down. This usually only happens in civilised places, such as the Citadel/Ilium/Omega.
Basically, if the Normandy had even tried to help, it would have dropped like a sack of bricks soon after it entered the atmosphere.<_<

But where was the gunship going? I assumed that it flew away into space (que Normandy) but i guess the other option is that it flew to a Blue Suns base on the planet, which the Normandy could have simply blown up from orbit (judging by the comments on Talis recruitment mission)

Unchained E.D.I. (isn't that a song?) is able to accomodate for most of the crew. Talk to Joker after they're all taken and she'll explain everything (finally... but still give no advice like the loading screen helpful hint says).apotheosic wrote...

Joker's illness affects his arms and chest. How is he able to fire that gun? (And who's flying the ship if EDI says she can't do it without Joker?)

Joker's illness only affects his legs. This is made very clear in the first game.
EDI -can- fly the ship without him; it's just that she thinks they do it better together.
