I don't think they were unfounded. Therefore this doesn't apply to me. I do think she overreacted and made an error posting those in the first place, however. But what's done is done. It's far too late to put the genie back into the bottle.
The way I see it is very simple: what Volus did offended her. Maybe it seems insignificant to most, especially after seeing those pics compared side by side on the previous page, but to Lilith it was serious enough that she couldn't help react as she did. I think she should have remained quiet after things started dying down, but it didn't happen and now Volus posted them up again... so that's out.
Sometimes, people aren't perfectly rational about things. I don't expect to understand why it bothered her so much, but as an e-friend, I'll support her because she's a friend. I don't think she should need to neatly justify why that alteration bothered her so much, although looking at the pics it's likely that she was bothered by a photo intended as professional being altered. Having a few artists acquaintances myself, I know that sometimes they can get *very* touchy about that sort of thing.
Still, the specifics hardly matter. This all came about because both parties communicated poorly to start and overreacted afterwards. Had that not been the case, this thread could have ended fast or not existed in the first place. Now it's too late and this will likely continue festering until Woo wanders by with his locking keys.
I under stand it was just two artist ramming heads what I don't understand is how alagations of herament and and other character assaulting factor in to this. And I don't even see how copy right fits into it considering they were both post one a semi- public forum and no monetary factors are involved. and it even looked like Volus was give her the image. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting to show off your art.
