How do I make Anora queen instead of making Alistair king without pissing him off?? I want him to stay for the final battle, but not to be king. Is it possible?

Kill Loghain then ask Alistair 'What should i do' and he tells you himself 'make Anora queen'. then without asking him anything else, say you've ,made the decision and choose Anora. Alistair won't be pissed off!

First, you register your game.  Then, you go ask on the SPOILER forum since you're not supposed to put spoilers in THIS forum (maybe you saw the big capitalised words that say NO SPOILERS ALLOWED?  No?  You missed it?).

Sheesh, learn some common decency folks.  Sure, many of us have completed the game, but I'm sure there were some people who read this thread who had no clue that Alistair could BE king.  Hell, I was near the end of my first run through before I found out about it.  In game thank the gods, it really would have spoiled things if I had found out here.

Rats! I've had a thing for Alistair 'this big', *snicker* and only now I find out that he he only goes for chicks! (no possibilities to get him drunk either). Zevran is too much of a fairy!!!! I might as well be bloody straight...!!! jeez, I'm being rejected by a computer game character, I need to get out more!!!

Sure.  Be nice/ supportive after his letdown with Goldanna (i.e. do not tell him "Everyone is out for themselves, you should learn that").  This will maintain Alistair's wimpy characteristic towards the kingship and he won't mind at all if you make Anora queen.  It's actually more difficult to make Alistair want to be king.

Oh, and you'll need to decline the offer to have Loghain become a Grey Warden.  Dude's gotta die or Alistair will leave your party for good, taking his pretty armor and weapons with him.

You could get a mod, if you're on PC.  But he'll still think you're a chick, because he's a little dense.

At the risk of Alistair fangirl wrath, Zevran is WAY more manly than Alistair.  You're talking an amazingly strong man vs a sweet boy.

I hardened Alistair will also let you make Anora king and not get upset, at least when he's in love with you. You can't let him duel or kill Loghain though but anyone else can duel him and you can kill him.
