I had a ton of fun playing an Assault Sentinel with shotgun as bonus weapon. Sentinel is also the best class for setting up and completing Warp explosions. Just make sure to take a squad mate with the Pull ability.
Sentinel, or Vanguard?

If you want to survive, go Sentinel. If you want to die in the most badass looking ways ever, Go Vanguard.
That. Exactly that. Click the word dying in my sig. It's so true, and so much fun
Lol. So I watched your vid. Yup. That pretty much sums up the Vanguard. Instead of pull or shockwave the Vanguard needs self resurrect ... and maybe a baseball bat instead of shotgun.

Ooooh a baseball bat. Or a frying pan. Melee weapons would be soooo much fun

Lol. So if the Normandy Cook gives you the frying pan after you give him the food ingredients and Dr Chawkwa gives you Serris Ice Brandy to bolster bravery for Charge then who gives you the baseball bat?

Infiltrator and Vanguard have been the most fun so far, but both classes have moments of frustration (Infiltrators running out of sniper ammo, Vanguards not having safe Charge targets).
Engineer, on the other hand, was a very safe playthrough with almost no deaths....but a bit boring near the end. Watching Harbringer get stunlocked by drone spam gets old after a while.

Vanguard needs a lazer sword.

I thought playing on an Engineer was the most fun I've had in ME2. Having all kinds of options to kill an enemy, but always being able to fall back on the combat drone. Also, the most fun is bullying the hell out of a lone YMIR Mech. Spamming combat drone and lighting the MF up with and Smg was so satisfying.
