Speculation on my part, but it's likely that these are intended for the Kasumi DLC and will be a part of it - you're supposed to sneak in a party, right? And Kasumi uses a cloaking device - that leaves Shepard with another squad member (unless Kasumi is not controllable and you're alone, like in the Morinth/Samara mission).



These could just be more "official" clothing options for certain squad members - Garrus, because of his broken armor, Thane because he now looks... suave?... rather than with his usual assassin clothing.



And Jack, just because she's Jack and that's the best she can do.

Since Thane and Jack have covered themselves up significantly more, I wonder if Miranda's and Samara's costumes will too?

Anyways, Garrus and Thane's new outfits I assume would be what Norman was talking about...though I'm a little unsure on her use of "very very happy." Outfits are nice but I would have expected more than that with that kind of emphasis. Semantics I guess.

Thanks. I have to say I don't really like Thane's new outfit for some reason. I prefer the other ones. I also prefer Garrus' battered armor as it makes him look more badass. I guess it's different for those romances him (he's a bro to me personally). Jack's outfit looks fantastic and should have been the default.

New costumes would be awesome. Hopefully they'l make some for all the characters. Better yet, add more casual outfits for Shepard in the process... that would be cool.

I take back what I said about the Thane outfit, it's actually pretty cool with the dark gray with red highlights. The sunglasses are a bit corny through, but better than the whole "Saturday Night Fever" vibe I was getting previously.

They're like Morpheus glasses too, Jack and Thane.  They have no pieces that go over the ear.

I don't know. I just think they look like bad, reflective textures. Might be because it's a work in progress. (Or a very, very expansive fake.) (And I do mean "expansive", not "expensive").

It seems to me there's an Heart of Darkness thing going on, Dr. Cayce is like Kurtz. I just hope there are cutscenes and dialogue that reflects it. It sounds like you get various "take a look at this" and "mission accomplished" lines from squadmates, a'la the Missing Marines assignment from ME1, it's just a matter of whether or not Mark and Jennifer recorded anything for this.

As for the shades, I imagine they serve a purpose besides besides satisfying Men In Black fetishes. Codex will probably call them "safety visors" or something like that. Usually any environment that needs a breath mask is not good for the eyes either.
