In light of this alt costume info, I'm starting to wonder if a male squadmate or two will be dressed down' or something.
Not that I'm interested or anything - I would love to see what they have in mind for Samara and Miranda though.

I don't know man, the Sentry Interface Visor looks pretty damn cool to me. Not exactly what you mean but still.

The Sentry Interface is functionally okay, though the visor is so cluttered with lines that it obscures the eyes anyway, and not in a good way. At least any actual sunglasses for Shepard would have a better chance of looking awesome.

Perhaps this guy is just marketing upcomming content? Gaining peoples attention so that the developers can gather feedback? It's possible.

God damn it Thane looks more like Elton John now.
Or Rob Halford (Judas Priest) during the Fuel for Life tour.
Ahh.... aliens in Judas Priest stagewear, one of this genre's most tried and true staples.

These things can be faked; but considering the amount of effort it would take for him to fake something like this...
I don't see what possible motive he could have. I mean to make that vid he would essentially have to program the alternate character models into the game himself and if he was doing that why wouldn't he take credit for it? Just to create a little buzz on the net? I don't buy it, to me the only logical conclusion is that its legit.

Garrus finally having armor that isn't half broken also is a very nice change.

This Troper (
Mass Effect 2, as a whole, is succeptable to the virus They Changed It, Now It Sucks. People complained about the Mako, Bioware replaced it with planet scanning, everyone wants the Mako back. Inventory screen is "overwelming", BW implements an upgrade system, everyone wants the old system back. Some FPS-junkie wants less RPG more FPS, BW creates the heatsink system, everyone wonders why they can't just let their weapons cool.
As to this thread specifically, the "mole's" motives may help to futher prove the Greater Internet F***wad Theory. Need I say more?
Now, that felt good. Not bad for my first time troping.
Anyway, I actually like the new outfits. Jack's visor thing reminds me of one of the headbands from KOTOR. Jacob did say that Garrus had some cybernetics after his accident or maybe its like a splint. As for Thane...

Maybe if you do the same, assuming you don't already have it, as in... USED ME2 (already?)
You should get it early.

Proof?
Consider the amount of time and effort it would take to fake that. Then ask yourself if "to screw with the heads of people on the internet" is really sufficient motivation to spend God knows how many hours creating custom models and skins.
If that's insufficient proof look at this somewhat more spoilery video and consider the herculean amount of effort it would take for one dude to fake it.

Well, now that I'm done reading those.... 15 pages, I may finally have found a reason to speak in the third person.*Ahem*:
This Troper () finds every person on these forums, himself included, to belong to Bioware's Unpleasable Fanbase. For example, I seem to recall seeing a thread
demandingrequesting sunglasses for the party. Now that we haveproofpics of said request, nobody wants them. That leads to the next point.

For me personally-Just because I thought a system was flawed(inventory in ME1), doesnt mean I want it totally gone. There IS a differance.
Overall I am very pleased with the game and how it turned out.
Just would like a few things back from ME1-More armor, squad armor, more powers, more custimzation basically.
That doesnt mean remove something entirly, just clean it up so to speak.
I dont care if its on 4 disk

I think that this is pretty plausible. If you look at his videos you notice that he never messes around with the hover tank. I know that if I had the tank and wanted to show people that it was legit, I would be jumping around everywhere and doing spins and stuff. He just plays it nicely. He also doesn't reveal too much of the story involved, and he hasn't shown the Kasumi content at all.
It is also possible that he is just doing that in hopes that he will not get beat up by Bioware/EA. He has a video where he complains about getting threats from Ubisoft after he posted a Splinter Cell: Conviction demo video that he tried to play well to show it off.
