My first playthrough I didnt know about "hardening" Alistair until Landsmeet. I was wondering if there is a way to change that after I have completed his side-quest without hardening him then. I really want the ending with Alistair and Anora married and Loghain alive.

So does anyone know if its possible to mod, console command, or some other way to flag harden on?

No, I don't think so. I've tried a few commands and none of them seem to set a flag for Alistair being hardened. Sorry :(

There is a good way I have found to do that. After you complete this game, start a new origin and make sure you hit those dialog flags the next time through. Works great.

Seriously, there are so many options in this game do you really have to have a hardened Alistair for this first playthrough? Officially, there are 4 endings you need to get the Perfectionist achievement but in actuality there are many more endings than that. Don't be afraid to try different options.

RBCharger, I'm not looking for sarcasm. This isnt my only playthrough, I'm looking to change my first playthrough outcome to what I desire it to be for import into awakening.

If you don't want to do a full play through, you could try playing from a save prior to meeting Goldanna. Probably not an ideal solution, but it will work.

I see what you're saying.  If I'm not mistaken though, the imported character will have certain things assumed (like if you didn't actually defeat the archdemon yet, Awakenings is going to re-write your backstory as if you had), so I don't think your choices will be taken all that literally for import.  If that helps at all.

What are the 4?  Alistair becomes king, Alistair and Anora rule together, Anora takes contol of the throne, and PC becomes king?

I think it's:

Sacrifice PC
Sacrifice Loghain
Sacrifice Alistair
Sacrifice no one (Dark Ritual)

Sacrifice Loghain after recruiting you mean?  That would explain why I don't have that achievement.  I've never recruited Loghain into the Wardens.  Can't bring myself to do that to Alistair.

I did it once after marrying hardened Alistair off to the harpy. I haven't been able to sacrifice him yet though.
