I played Dragon Age back when it
first came out and then set it aside once I had completed it. I decided
to play the game over again in preparation for the expansion, but I
can't find my registrationi key and the game won't even install without
it. It seems that EA charges $10 for a replacement registration key. I
am unwilling to pay them again for a game I already purchased and if it
comes down to that, I just won't bother buying the expansion. However,
the game was registered and I had downloaded DLC for it, so I am sure
the registration code is available somewhere through my bioware or EA
accounts. Does anyone know how I can find it?
At the moment if you've lost your manual and uninstalled the game you're stuck. There's no way to retrieve your key from this website, and that would be only if you registered your game here. Registring your game with EA doesn't send your CD key to them.

I have never gotten to play this game. Where IS the Registration Code located? Is it that code underneath the character download Shale? This was opened Christmas morning and I have never been able to get it to load---first I had to get rid of Vista. Now I am ready to play it on Win 7 and cannot find the code. It says one time use. So----where is it?
The Game Registration Code is located on the back cover of the manual. That is the code you need to install the game.
The code under Shale is specifically to download Shale, while on the backside of that card is a code for the Blood Dragon Armor. Both of those codes need to be entered at http://social.biowar...redeem_code.php.

I`ve been an avid buyer and user of Bioware software from the earliest days of the old Interplay boards covering all the BG series, the FO series, and anything else Bioware and Interplay dished up... but I have to say that I find the idea of having to pay for a second registration Key absolutely outrageous.
In the old days of Pirated disks and dodgy key-generators, I could understand it... but if we have already registered the genuine software with EA and the Biwoare sites..if we`ve downloaded content, contributed to the coffers , and have proof positive on the EA and Biwoare websites that we are registered owners, then issuing a replacement Key or refurnishing us with the existing key should be no more difficult than an email , which as we know, is free.
I`m not going to say I`ll never buy another Bioware product, as consistently the actual games are streets ahead of anything else produced, but I will not be held to ransom for a new key to the tune of $10, I`ll now simply "cheat" and find a way around it.
Thats not normally my nature, but sometimes being honest and fair only gets you a ten buck kick in the teeth.

I'm tired of it. Registering the game should have some benifit to the player, not just to EA's marketting department.

I personaly dont see the problem because of the fact that well just about everything has a required CD key to install now. I find it funny that people hold teh company responsible for their own faults and because of piracy they cant take you at your word so you basicaly have to buy a new one (10 isnt that bad, it could be $40)

So i decided to reinstall because of the Many Bioware-Side errors in this game and was hoping to simply fix everything by redownloading all of the DLC i had paid for and keeping my saves.........
Much to my dissapointment, i cant find my Manual with my Code now, so because of all of the errors on Bioware's side, i am now royaly ****ed.......tell me how this is my fault that it randomly froze, corrupt my games, and took my hard earned Money and gave me nothing in return. How can that possibly be my or anyone else but Bioware's Fault.
