I only do Renegade interrupts if they allow me to take down an enemy. Conserve ammo and all that, y'know?

When is this scene anyway?

exclusive to femshep, at the very start of garrus recruit.

When in the alliance camp? Gonna have to pay more attention nextime I play Fem-Shep

right after you ask Aria about archangel she tells you to meet with mercs directly below her. you go downstairs and talk with the merc in the VIP room area.

he goes "weeeee-eee-eeeeellll, aint you sweet. sorry honey, stripper quarters are over there". then you can do the interrupt.

right after that the dumb kid comes in and wants to join (where you can paragon interrupt him to prevent him from going)

Paragade's definitely the way to go. I've done (and love) pretty much every Renegade interrupt besides throwing the merc out the window and interrupting Mordin.

Why anyone would ever want to cut Mordin's dialog short I have no idea.

Asking nicely simply does not work every time... Sometimes, you just have to smash the damn ATM distributor...

When I did that on my second play through I was hoping it would cause Garrus not to be shot up. I was mistaken.

- Compare weapons with batarian who thinks I'm a stripper

- Headbutted the krogan

- Punched Khalisah al-Jilani..whatever her name was.

- Shot the merc with the sniper rifle (Archangel recruitment)

- Tasered Cathka

Probably more I can think of. I choose interrupts based on the context as well and based on how I want my femshep to act in character.

The renegade intimidate is much more satisfying.

And allot more badass.

Why are some people against pushing that merc out of window? I do it all the time!

Because we're goody-goody Paragons and it's possible to get him to surrender without a fight.  Isn't it worth feeling good about sparing somebody's life to miss out on a humorous line or two?

...

Yeah, probably not.

I use the renegade interrupts when it means an advantage in battle for the most part like during Miranda's loyalty mission and Mordins loyalty mission, zapping Cathka (although I'm wondering if you don't do this will he show up in ME3?). But I also use the interrupt during the freelancer recruitment with the batarian... yeah like FemShep looks like a stripper with her armor and a grenade launcher on her back... bastard. I use the one during Thane's loyalty mission when your interrogating Kelham and Shep threatens to "cut his balls off and sell them to a krogan". Posted Image

I do tend to get  a lot of renegade points when talking to TIM... although I would like to know why I get renegade points during the end of Samara's recruitment mission (turned over evidence of Elnora being the killer and of Pitney's smuggling to detective Anaya) and during Grunt loyalty mission after killing Uvek? I don't do it because I see no point to it. He surrenders without a fight anyway... just pointless violence and my Shep doesn't operate that way. Posted Image

By the way, I love jack's comment after you push the merc out of the window.

"...sometimes I go Renegade."

Just wondering what people's favorite out-of-alignment (but not necessarily out-of-character) moments are. I usually play a straight down the line Paragon (what can I say? I like to help people), but sometimes I just have to...

* Compare "weapons" with a certain Batarian who mistakes me for a stripper.

What happens if you -don't- do that?

I dunno. I could never resist hitting the renegade button.

this might as well be mandatory because i cant think of a possible reason to not hit the interrupt here. in my mind i feel like if i dont hit the interrupt the game will freeze from lack of possibility. LOL

Hehheh, I didn't hit the inturrupt on my second playthrough just to see what would happen - Shep gives him a blank stare and he says "what, not even a smile?"  then he goes back to his "Well I can see you're well armed..." stuff he says otherwise.  Much more satisfying to grab your gun.

Well i remember that one thing that could not do (even though i aimed for a pure para playthru) it was to not kill that terrorist in ME1 and to save that colony capital in ME2. I cant convince myself to push that button!

If you don't interrupt, the merc recruiter just says
"Wow, not even a smile. So you're here to fight then?"
And you get the same conversation options as you would with the interrupt. Booooo-ring.

That one.  Though to be frank, if I hadn't done it, I wouldn't have been surprised if Mother Theresa herself had turned up in person to boot his arse out the window, he was so irritating.

The only one that I can think of right now that I don't like is the Mouse interrupt. That just seems too far over the top. Another one I don't quite understand why it is renegade is the new Eclipse soldier that you find hiding that you can shoot. How many times do people say that an Eclipse gets her uniform only after killing someone and yeah she was wearing one.

That is one of my favorites because it was the first renegade inter-up I came across on my first play through. I certainly took me by surprise.

I've never not done that. Must sabotage gunship...

Definitely the gunship sabotage interrupt. But besides that, getting revenge on the batarian bartender by forcing him to taste his own poison.

Batarians.... nice people...

All it does is lower the HP of the gunship.

Headbutting a krogan, stabbing an engineer in the back with a spanner because I knew it was Garrus out there (sniping Turian? hmm a mystery), Telling a criminal his balls belong to a Krogan, Helping the ex dig up nasty stuff. Otherwise boyscout.
