I preserved the Collector base. At least, that's the option I chose—Tali didn't comment (even though the Illusive Man clearly said 'You're making the right choice,') and the cinematic that followed appeared to be its detonation, so whatever.

I'm not big on destroying things for how they've been used or what means were used to create them. Same reason I preserved Maelon's research and rewrote the Heretics.

hmmm...

i guess i can see that. i just SO wanted to tell the illusive man to go to h*ll. he risks everybody not to stop the collectors, but to get his hands on the reaper-making tech - at least, that's how i saw it. i loved that miranda stood by me when i told him to f off. i just love the idea that he spend a fortune rebuilding me and the ship and then i just took the ship and ran...

so mebbe that's renegade-ish of me.

Pretty much Paragon at all times, except for the Council. The first time I heard them go on about my "fragile mental state," I just about lost it, screaming at the TV like a lunatic. In my 8 playthroughs since, I still see red everytime I hit that scene, so I always tell them to kiss my ass.

The only other two renegade things I do are the neck snapping at the beginning of Miranda's mission, and the zap to the back of the batarian while getting Garrus.

you srsly screamed at the tv?

...I sometimes like to push people out of windows or threaten to take off my mask and destroy the food source for 1/3 of the migrant fleet.

Are there any other interesting confrontations involving legion besides the one on the migrant fleet?

I pretty much always do Renegade interrupts when it involves taking down an enemy.  Not stuff like the guy at the window, where his weapon isn't ready and there's a potential to talk him out of fighting, but ones like the start of Miranda's loyalty mission and the monologuing villain in Mordin's loyalty mission; chances are these guys ain't gonna surrender when they're already facing off with you with weapons drawn, so why not get the drop on them?

And I know people have tried to explain it to me before, but I STILL don't get how shooting a MECH in the head during an interrupt gets you Renegade points, but shooting him in the head five seconds later is a-okay.

My theory on that is the mech was actually an eclipse guy in an earlier build, but got changed to a mech for some reason with the renegade points for sniping it left in. That's the best I can come up with.

Definitely jamming the electrowhatsit into the guy repairing the gunship. XD

I do that on my paragon Shep because he's still a bit of a badass, and it's a great line, if a bit cliche.

- Headbutted the krogan

I've never done this.  I love the charm option.  "You maneuver like the Citadel Council.  Does your Kraant also fight with words?"

The only one that I can think of right now that I don't like is the Mouse interrupt. That just seems too far over the top. Another one I don't quite understand why it is renegade is the new Eclipse soldier that you find hiding that you can shoot. How many times do people say that an Eclipse gets her uniform only after killing someone and yeah she was wearing one.

Especially if you have Zaeed in the party.

Shooting that asari merc during Samara's recruitment was fun.

Yeah, why is shooting Elnora a Renegade act?

She's an Eclipse Merc, which means she had to have murdered at least one person, and then she pulls her weapon on you. Even if it's your first playthrough and you don't yet know what she's done, you shouldn't get Renegade points for it.

But just like head butting the Krogan, and blowing up a monologing opponent, sometimes you just can't resist pulling that right trigger.  Posted Image

BTW, anyone knows what happens when you punch a pyjack in the Krogan Scientist's lab?

God there needs to be an option in ME3 where you get a personal audience with the Council, with a renegade interrupt that lets you punch the Turian councillor in the face. Not as a big deal type of thing, just like, Shepard calmly walks into the room and clocks him.

Kaidan/Ashley's ghost appears and tells you off for being excessive, I reckon.

Full 100% Paragon, the renegade options range from childish and jackass to downright evil and thats just not my Shepard.

I get somewhat disturbed when people write stuff like: "why is shooting Elnora a Renegade act?"

Because killing when you have the option NOT to is wrong?

If you want to be Renegade, then by all means play one. Just realise what you are playing.

I played bad cop during Thane's loyalty mission ...... The Thane loyalty mission thing... I always wanted to play the bad cop ^.^

I feel sorry for the guy in that interogation, and I'm not surprised he spilled the beans.

Thane : Do you want to be good cop or bad cop?

Shep : Good cop!

<thump> <thump> <chokehold>

I'd love to see what Thane's badcop was gonna do :)
