Screw it I'm reinstalling without uninstalling. Maybe my dlc will work when I wake up.

It won't "play" for me either with the play button, after installing the patch. Thought it was just my cpu but thank goodness I'm not the only one with the problem. Quick fix would be much appreciated Bioware/IT person/engineer/computer expert/etc.

Same problem...Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit here...Playing along fine, install patch and...play button does not work..



I've tried everything in this thread : run from DVD, install C++ patch, etc.



I am in the process of installing right over the game, without un-installing first



Pretty silly problem this seems like. No offense EA/Bioware, wonder where your Q/A people were on this one.

I'm glad I read this before installing the patch. Has anyone contacted support directly and been provided with any information? It's strange that not even a moderator has posted here yet, they're usually pretty quick to at least acknowledge an issue.

Re-install in place without un-installing worked, am back in the game and all my DLC is fine and the characters are all interacting just fine.

This has to be the most botched up game releases I have ever seen.

You've obviously never played Borderlands PC.
