started my 2end playtrough just now as a female infiltraitor and as soon as i got off the bed i got like 50k resourcses to all the different metals, is this normal ? iknow some of the achievments give bonuses like extra powers and xp ect like in ME1 but is this one of em ?

If you have the achievement for beating Mass Effect 2 twice, or beating it with an ME1 imported character, you get extra resources. So yeah, that's why. It's a real time saver, especially when you're trying to find Element Zero.

Short answer: yes



It's the ME2 long service achievement, which you'll get when starting all new ME2 games after you've completed it the first time. You also get extra credits and a 25% XP bonus. This is in addition to any ME1 save import bonuses.

Yeah, completing the game once gives a big boost to the start of the next one.
