So I killed the AD with my usual party: Me, Allistair, Morrigan, and Leliana.
When I got RTO (PS3 user), I decided to sit Leliana out and take Wynne in her place for the extra dialogue and such. As we ran into a skirmish and she fainted, she told me about her spirt from the fade keeping her alive, and I was able to get a quest from her.
It was about a Boy elf mage that she was training and that she was mean to him and he ran away ( somthing like that) she told me it was the worst thing she has ever done etc etc.
Anyway, I can't go anywhere else in the game. I saved at the coronation and after RTO was completed so I can't go back and do this quest or I would, so can anyone please tell me what became of this boy?
Thanks - Rob

Aneirin ran off to join the Dalish. When you go to Brecilian forest, you can meet him in the Forest. You can also ask the Story Teller about him and he will tell you he went off to the forest.
Aneirin and Wynne talk and he gives her an amulet. That's pretty much it.

More specifically, he's right by the Mad Hermit.

Spoiler:
If you do this quest in the future, he can be found at that camp fire just north of the hermit's camp. He basically tells Wynne that she shouldn't regret anything she did. That she was a good teacher and everything turned out well for him.

And then she tries to get him to return to te Circle even though he's happy and the Templars ran him through and left him for dead at fourteen. And then if you're a mage she tries the same thing with you even though she herself refuses to come back.

Heh, yeh, my first playthrough I actually liked Wynne until we got to Aneirin. It was a truly WTF moment there for me.

*shrug* I play my mages as someone who actually enjoyed the Circle. Considering the alternatives (Frightened foolish mob stoning you for a bad crop, dead baby etc. or being in an Alienage slum and dying of sickness/starvation young) I felt my mages were mostly happy where they were. It felt like a big extended family to me and the templars were like big stupid guard dogs. And there are some seriously funny encounters in the mage origin so it wasn't all morose and depressing for me there. (One of my favorites is the templar guarding the huge outer doors).
I like to imagine that she occasionally goes back to study some piece of lore or perhaps write down accounts of what she has learned about the darkspawn for future generations to learn. Of course fighting the darkspawn threat will keep her very busy in the years to come but that doesn't preclude stopping in for visits.
And I liked Irving.
As Wynne said you can take the mage out of the Circle but not the Circle out of the mage (at least where my PC was concerned). Though when she brings it up for me to return in a more permanent capacity, my PC just usually says something along the lines of "we'll see" which is essentially I'll stop in for a visit now and then to see that all is still well but otherwise leave me to my darkspawn fighting ways.
