PrintScreen button to take picture right?

Tried that, tried alt PrintScreen, tried to map to a custom key.  No joy.

Found the screenshots folder and it has Achievement pics (1 per character) and Story pics.  User folder is empty nada.

I am using Windows 7.

Would have used search function on this forum but that don't seem to work either (this is a different machine using Windows Vista).

Same here. Tho when I press the button in-game, the game freezes a second as if to save it.

I took 4 of them on launch day. Not working anymore. Weird.

Maybe I'm not crazy then. I don't even see a hesitation in game but then again it's a pretty fast comp.

Someone must know the answer to this.

The FAQ is useless here, Searching on screenshot and screenshots returned NO relevant results. Are they even using it?

Only thing that changed on my side since the 3rd is the patch. I was busy and the game and DLC worked on the first try for me so nothing changed. Not even windows updates. I'm scatching my head at this. (I Missed a super nice finishing move on an ogre. I took a bunch of non existant screenshots).

That's EXACTLY where I stopped and spent an hour trying to take the screen shot.



Wonder if it let's us take screenshots while paused? If it worked at all that is.

I've also been trying to take screenshots and no dice for me either. (Playing on PC, Windows Vista.)

I've got the same folders and have the automatic screenshots taken in story and achievement folders.

Can't get my own shots to take, also tried remapping keys.

Any updates to fix?

I changed the screen resolution to the native resolution of my screen 1400X900 and that fixed it

I am also unable to take screenshots. The printscreen key does nothing (it's mapped properly). I am playing at my monitor's native resolution (1680x1050).

Switching to 1440 x 900 fixed the problem for me as well.

Adding a second binding for the screenshot key worked for me. Wonder why it just stopped working by itself with the Print Screen key.

I had this issue since day one from the digital download. I figured that I had to go into windowed mode to take screenshots for now. It's lame until there is a fix..

After hitting printscreen, try pasting it into paint.

Nothing works still. I have digital download from direct to drive. My native res is 1680X1050. The only way to get screenshots to work for me is go into windowed mode and or changing resolution to something lower. But I don't want to run in window mode and lowering screen resolution is retarded, it looks like crap when its' not at native. BIOWARE or someone please help here...

I sometimes need to keep it pressed for a few seconds to it actually take the screenshot (alt-tabbing to check it really did). Weird stuff but at least works.

Thanks, tried that as well. I don't understand why at my native resolution I cant take screenshots, but ALL other lower resolutions I can. What's the point if I have to downgrade my resolution in order to take a shot, lame!

Screen-shot issue resolved for me, I figured it out! For others who can't take screen-shots go into your dragonage.ini file. Locate DisableAspectRatioCorrection=0 and set it to equal 1, or



DisableAspectRatioCorrection=1



Now I can finally take screenshots by pressing the damn print screen button.

All I did was back to a lower resolution and back again. Now it works again!
