I've always loved the Heretic Station mission--fighting loads of robots in dimly lit rooms and hallways that stretch along windows into the heart of the station, with no oxygen or gravity. It's a rush. But the best part, by far, is the chaos and tenacity of the fights when robotic debris is flying by everyone's heads.
I'm on my 8th playthrough as a Vanguard on Insanity, and this is the first time I've decided to use Squad Cryo Ammo. The coolest part is that, when you or one of your squaddies nail a geth with a sniper or shotgun and they turn to ice, they go floating off in all different directions, exploding in the air and showering pieces of frost in horizontal arcs. Slapping the geth with Shockwaves, Concussive Shots, and making a bee-line to your enemy in mid-air using Charge is an adrenaline rush. It really is incredible.
So BioWare--we're in space! Let's have some more insane floating fights, like Heretic Station, or the attack on The Citadel in ME1 (best combat area of the whole game).
Let's make this a bit more interesting.
More missions in zero-gravity please!

Since there's no jumping in Mass Effect, some of the zero-g stunts in the video would be hard to do. But there are many of us that would like seeing interesting environments.

Heretic station is not really zero-gravity, it's more like "zero gravity, but our feet are held down by mass effect fields or something".
Zero-gravity withJETPACKS controllable mass effect propulsion systems would be awesome, though.

Zero Gravity is incredibly over-rated, not to mention that if you fired any weapon that is supposed to arc... well, it wouldn't ever hit the target.

Well, I'm not actually wanting to hop around myself, since jumping isn't a part of Mass Effect and I've accepted that a long time ago. I was thinking more along the lines of an increased amount of carnage with scripted scenes and additional level utility--say you're running on the "ground" and then suddenly something happens and you're forced to transition into running on the "walls" and "ceiling" and stuff like that. Heretic Station was pretty intense, and The Citadel battle is the ideal example of some level design elements I'd like to see implemented.
And I have to agree with Ecael, having some sort of system in place where one could control their own personal "propulsion" using biotics or tech or something would be pretty neat, being able to transition between walls and floors and roofs and such.

Once you fire this hunk of metal, it keeps going 'til it hits something! That can be a ship, or the planet behind that ship! It might go off into deep space and hit somebody else in 10,000 years!superimposed wrote...

If you pull the trigger on this, you are ruining someone's day somewhere and sometime!

That is what Halo: Reach will be for. ME doesn't need jetpacks, it needs more mass effect flying, like Samara does (I know she uses biotics, but that's just what biotics is anyway: a mass effect field).RigAudio wrote...

Reach has jetpacks?
Man, I am so glad I gave up on that series after finishing 3.

I gave up on 1. Someone tried to describe 2 to me and I felt the need to punch them.
You two are saints playing through to 3.
We're talking about Halo right?
