How do I change Sten's base stats?

I asked this a while ago to no avail, I know, but I'm back on it and I still haven't figured it out. I keep thinking it's really obvious and I'm just missing it...

I want to give Sten (base Sten, that is; I figured out how to edit any given save's Sten, I think) a racial bonus. You know, every other race gets four bonus points; it doesn't seem like much trouble to do the same for Sten. But I can't find his "blueprint." Last time I was told I needed his "blueprint." Where do I find this or else what can I do to edit his base stats?

Ok, is there something wrong with my copy of the toolset and that's why I can't find stuff?

I ask because I was looking around the wiki trying to find info on where Sten's files might be, and I found the following on <http://social.biowar...index.php/Morph>.

How to override companion & NPC Morph
1. Open toolset
2. File --> Manage Modules --> Switch to single player campaign
3. Open the "Creatures" palette and put the name of the companion or npc in the filter. Example: "alistair"
4. A few tabs open up.... Expand the "_Global/Followers" folder and you will see alistair's model, (i also included npc example): ...

But when I do this nothing comes up. When I put "Sten" into the filter in the ALL pallete, I get three things: _Codex, _Core Soundsets, and _Global (which contains Approval, Gifts, and Item Scripts).

So does my Single Player module not have all the files unloaded or something?

Edit: editing the formatting of the quoted bit, I somehow deleted the link above it; now they're both ok.

Alright, so I have tried putting edited Race_base and ALSten files in several override folders, and I have also tried replacing the originals. I tried respec'ing Sten in each of these cases to see if that would bring the new changes into effect, and in one case I tried reloading to before I got to Lothering. But none of these things affected Sten's stats.

ALSten doesn't even normally have an AttInit column, but I added one because it's the only file I can find that's at all involved with his stats. I still don't know if that's his "blueprint."

Of course, I'm still curious about the apparent discrepancy between what the wiki says my toolset can find and what my toolset can find, but I'm about out of ideas.

Is there some place else I have a better chance with asking this?

Maybe someone could offer some advice on why these questions are so tricky? I did not anticipate the difficulty.

It's normal that you don't see anything (at least it does for me too). I htink you need to download additional files. (I only picked the morphs but there is more)

You want gen00fl_sten to be able to edit his stats.

Ironically, now that I have Sten's file, I am having trouble finding what to edit.

Edit: I mean, it says on <http://social.biowar...ex.php/Creature> that the Package field controls attributes, but I am hesitant to change the whole package. Maybe it will mess something else up?

Actually, I pulled up Alistair's file, and I don't see how it differs from Sten's file in the areas that appear relevant to stats. So that presents an alternative problem.

Edit: I was having crashing problems, so I reinstalled the toolset, and now it has the files on board and appreciably differentiated. I still am not clear on what to edit. I will bump again tomorrow if need be.

Basically, go to Sten's part, then Statlist

1 Strength
2 Dexterity
3 Willpower
4 Magic
5 Cunning
6 Constitution

EDIT : Damn, didn't read OP well enough, can't help for base sten

Thanks for the reply! I know a couple of ways to edit any given Sten's stats, thanks. Since it's not that big a deal, I have hesitated to do so while a permanent (base stats) fix is pending. Of course, at this rate, it may continue on pending.

Huh... I am surprised that no one seems to know how to do this. It seems like the toolset should pretty easily be able to edit the base stats of a creature it created, and therefore I have imagined that someone knows how to do it.

I agree I have the same kinda problem I am trying to figure out how to just change a creature's model like for example make a darkspawn look like a undead but unforunately I cant figure out how to take what I see in the tool set and export it to work in the campaign

Ok, ok, this is the last bump. But don't look so sad: I may ask other questions in the future.
