I don't get the viciousness on either side. So I find it ridculous and unrealistic. Alright that doesn't mean you have to jump down my throat going. "NYAH! THEY LOOK SEXY AND YOU SHOULD APPREICATE THAT!!!" Or "OTHER SCI-FI DO IT SO IT MAKES TOTAL SENSE!"

...though to be honest Jacob, Thane, Jack, Samara and Miranda are asking to be torn into pieces by an array of bullets. Even Garrus stays in busted armor. Seems like Grunt and Shep are the only sane ones around. =]

Which is funny since Grunt is really the only one who'd stand a ghost of a chance without proper armor. =P

Sad but true.

I think Samara is a bit more ridiculous than Miranda. Miranda's the "perfect woman." So it makes a LITTLE (emphasis) sense that she's showing off the goods, but Samara is some high horse code following Justicar and oh hey cleavage!

Miranda is trying to be a serious leader in the human society. Meanwhile Samara is an asari, a species whose culture flaunts their sensual qualities. If you ask me, Miranda is less justified of the two.

Yeah, but Miranda wears that outfit because the Illusive Man will dock her pay and give her a spanking if she doesn't. Samara does it of her own free will.

Who says strong women can't be sexy? And, it's 170 years in the future. I'm pretty sure they can take a little creative license with the materials they use to make their clothing and make high heeled boots that were easy to maneuver in. I'm amazed that so many people think that modern day standards and science should be the baseline for how storytellers should incorporate technology.

I avoided making women Warriors in Dragon Age because they looked like skinny little boys in full Plate Armor like Wade's Dragonbone and Blood Dragon Armor. Mage and Rogue armor, to a lesser extent at least lets them keep their curves while still adding a respectable level of protection for the roles they were portraying.

If I wanted to de-feminize my characters I would of made a man in the first place.

...Uh. I loved the fact that the heavy plate erased the curves in my female's form. Its supposed to. Its bloody MASSIVE ARMOR. Its supposed to completely shield the body. I wasn't overly fond of the boob slots in some of the heavy armor. (Though only one I actually liked was the splintmail and Wade's Superior Medium DragonSkin armor).

Also: Defeminize? This is unfeminine? http://i108.photobuc...adyaeducan1.jpg
News to me.

I didn't realize a woman had to be wearing skin tight clothes and heels to be feminine.

I'm pretty sure that Miranda decides her own dresscode, even though the Cerberus wardrobes seem to hold an overabundance of spandex and latex, looking at her and Jacob.
But I've noticed that the asari matriarchs like to show their cleavage, while the younger asari usually have fairly high necklines, even though they prefer skintight outfits. I like the speculation that it's supposed to emphasize their maternal character in their society.Still, it would be more comfortable and believable to give people proper armour for combat.

Shepard: Alright crew, Cerberus has had me recruit some of the best this galaxy has to offer.

Unfortunately I have since come to realze that most of you are "pants on head" STUPID.

Now, due to the fact that the only people on this ship who are intelligent enough to wear armor are Garrus, Grunt, and mr. flashlight (Thane has a free pass because he's an assassin), most of you will be staying on the ship for the entirety of this mission.

On a related note, I wish Wrex was here.

Hey, Zaeed wears armor! If you don't count his GIANT BULGING TATTOO ARM that remains exposed even in space.

what about high heels that double as shock absorbers so they can jump down from like 2 stories without feeling it?

Raiden is a cyborg ninja and so he naturally uses his high heels for TOTAL BULLSH!T crazy crap constantly.  Snake don't got no high heels though.

Yeah, it's not like people are signing a petition to ban the asari strippers all over the gaming universe. I think giving companions pseudo-plausible mission outfits would be nice. They can wear whatever they want on the ship! But taking on the Collectors in high heels and wonder bras is a bit much. It starts turning into Barbarella, I was expecting to go surfing along on a stingray or meet an NPC named Duran Duran.

Ok here im going to say it. Bioware decided to have high heels, they will not change it unless majority of the people that buy Mass Effect games boycott ME3 just so they see no more high heels. Get over yourselves. I applaud Bioware's decisions i am a faithful fan, always have been always will be.

Edit: if you wanna flame war me send me a PM i'll be happy to argue over a game with you guys anytime =]
