Do you hate Wynne? Do you like causing her death as frequently as possible?

I don't like Wynne.  She's so well written and voiced that I'm convinced I hate her personality.  STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT BEING OLD!!

Anyways...here's what I like to do with Wynne at every possible opportunity:

First set her up:

I'd prefer her not to be as goody two shoes, I want to be mean without her starting to fight me. I'm the leader, I decide :D

This is how I play her: 1st the meat shields -- 2nd my attack mage -- 3rd Wynne, if she not healing -- she is helping my attack mage -- I gave her some basic attack spells from another group -- Ice and stone first -- thus I can break more monster faster because I have this spell 2x (one for each mage), but 90% of the time she healing other party members...

You have to admit for being an old lady she is a good-looking old lady.

Nothing wrong with being attracted to women with such a lovely personality.

I don't hate her, I hate only the responses my character can give her. The PC can just sound overwhelmed by his task and in need of her guidance. Something I really never felt like. I wanted to play a character that knows his task and accepted his fate or at least someone who for sure wouldn't whine about being a grey warden when speaking to a "wannabe-grandma". I think this relationship between PC and her was too much forced on the player. That's why I never liked her that much. One the other hand you get pretty sarcastic comments while talking to her, something that surprised me and I enjoyed.

True --- just thinking how well "used" she might be...

You can't expect every woman to be pure and ready to lose her virginity to you.
That's just premature thinking.

Same thing goes for real life, by the way.

what not to like? Her story is awesome and she is "The Healer" of the game. She also remind me of my mom and it make me chuckle everytime she kill something and i picture my mom doing it instead.

Firstly, I'm pretty much indifferent about Wynne. Secondly, this reminds of all the threads about the adoring fan from m days in Bethesda's Oblivion forum.

I guess I just can't get along with her personality. But I more posted this for the comedy of being allowed to balista-impale your own team mates, repeatedly, outside of combat, and they don't say a word about it.

This is very true.

In a way the responses we are allowed to make to win, are the worst in the game.

On a not completly unrelated note, mot Wynne-haters/dislikers hang out in this thread, which started out differently but quickly became the unofficial Wynne Hate HQ.
If people like the OP feel lonely ;)

When I played as an upstanding, chivalric human noble warrior, I felt Wynne was a fine addition to the party, and respected her wisdom. Now, I'm playing an overconfident mage sympathetic to the libertarian circle, and unafraid to dabble into the forbidden black arts of blood magic.I find Wynne incredibly irritating, and more than once, I often contemplate chopping her up and feeding her to my Mabari,Wolfsheim, if she weren't so useful as a healer. I am really sick of her interjecting her self-righteous opinions into affairs that don't concern her. I, and Alistair are the Grey Wardens here, yet she acts like she's the mother hen of the party. On top of that, she was rude enough to invite herself along once we were done dealing with the circle. Excuse me Wynne, that's a bit presumptious, isn't it?

I like Wynne in my party during a fight for the healing and the haste, but most of my characters wonder why she's suddenly appointed herself their guidance counselor and wish they could point out that Alistair would probably appreciate her attempts at mentoring and hearing tales of how the Wardens are supposed to be Jesus.

I like Wynne, but she does tend to get preachy. I understand that she's trying to be helpful and pass on advice, but she can go overboard at times. Especially when she goes into the realm of telling you what you should do regarding your relationships. Really, lady, none of your beeswax.

Yes Wynne is a good healer but a mage in your party (without Wynne) can do the same healing and also a lot of damage.

I play as a mage and i have damage spells and group healing + Revival and i also have Morrigan with damage and group healing.

The two of us..oh the two of us :)

Leliana is the rogue and Alistair the mean machine.

i wish i could romance Morrigan (i'm female) but i am romancing Leliana....and why not...it is allowed so i do it :)
