Would there be any point to a silenced SMG in ME2 ? It's not as if there's sections you sneak around avoiding enemies (unless, of course, Kasumi's mission works that way). My bet is on a more accurate and longer ranged weapon, somewhere between the Tempest and assault rifle.

What's more interesting than the announcement, for me, is what *wasn't* announced -- those two "classified" placeholders on the character page for Kasumi.

Morinth and Legion must be a big secret still ?

I for one am glad there ISNT a romance option. God I was being to wonder if there was anyone in the galaxy that didnt want to jump Shepard by the end of the game. There are already 3 LI options in ME2 for people. 4 if you count Kelly and 6 if you could remaining loyal to your LI from ME1.

I didnt hear people screaming for Zaeed to be a LI. That one dead eye is HAWT.

I'm getting sick of the incessent need from everyone for there to be a love interest.

I think I remain loyal from the ME1 for personality reasons and that I find it to be pointless.

Quite true, but introducing a weapon like that would come close to rendering AR's and SMG's obsolete, something to be avoided.

A preview for the Locust SMG would be nice.

Also, please release this like tommorow. Otherwise I'll just have freeze myself like Cartman did. (just kidding)

Hope this comes out really soon after the Hammerhead, so I can continue my Infiltrator playthrough with all the new content.

*takes sage pose* I predict a character trailer shall arrive within one to two weeks. If not just one...

*throws sage "aura" away* Until April 6th, I'll just play DAO...or Sims 3. Whichever one kills time and makes me lose grip of reality easier =P

Voice clips for Kasumi, though like I said earlier, comment was placed that they wouldn't be using these particular lines. I like her voice ^_^

The way she says "ramen" is slightly seductive.

Bioware just enjoys trying to make us squirm, or accomplishing this; they enjoy screwing with us.

Jesus, if this is true I most likely will not be getting it. 800-1200 Microsoft points is just WAY too much IMO. I am looking forward to the Hammerhead pack though, I just dont see paying that much for a new character with limited speach and a new gun (even though the gun really is much needed).

The DLC for Kasumi has never been posted for anything over 560 points, and even that isnt confirmed yet.  So unless you have a link hush.

12 Squad Members. 2 squad members with you at any given time. 6 classes. Seems to work out well to me.

They kind of had to do this anyway, they did say "Dirty Dozen." And it ain't really a Dirty Dozen without the Dozen...

Have no fear people, it's unlikely for any more squad mates to come out way after this. =P

I'm wondering if this micro DLC is more along the lines of EA's handywork. Seems like they're using their "The Sims" cash model; Put out very popular game, throw out some free stuff, then start putting in a bunch of 'mini-content'.

To everyone blindly praising all the 'new' content we've had so far: They most likely had all that content ready before launch day. They didn't put it in so you would buy it new, thus netting the most money. They don't consider the fact that some people aren't able to access the internet with their computers or consoles. Why should I have to download stuff that was taken out? I don't want to steal the food from your child's table, but seriously... more trouble than it's worth.

I know, pirates might crack the PC version and make people able to get it free (still, I prefer pirates to ninjas... Guns > Katanas), but really... have ANY of your DRM methods worked for more than a week? I personally REFUSE to buy any PC game that has SecuROM or other harsh protection built in.

I have nothing against Kasumi (besides the POSSIBLE price of $7), nor the Hammerhead Tank (I am apparently one of the few that loved the Mako, so I'm looking forward to this greatly), I'm just against this belief most of you appear have that we've been given a lot of 'new' content.

I bought Mass Effect. I've purchased both books. I shall probably purchase the comics next time I go to a store that contains them. I may wait till all 4 come out. I will buy the third book. I do not support Micro DLC... Something that will take me longer to download than it will entertain me does not sound very interesting.

That being said, this is my last post on the matter.

With that out of the way: I wish she was a Love Interest, but am fine with her not being one... just give her some gorramn depth. I don't want a character that will sit in her cabin, and describe her great conquest into the stealing of the Mona Lisa without being able to tell her the Mona Lisa is a rather ugly painting, not worth stealing :P

Claw

P.S. To whomever may read this and question whether I have a life or not, let me answer that for you: No. I do college work at home, do my chores around the farm my family owns, and play Xbox or computer. I have little social life outside of my computer, due to the fact that my farm is 40 miles (about 60 kilometers) from the nearest town, which has around 1,000 people in it. I have Satellite internet, which has a cap of 1 GB per 7 day rolling period. The download speeds range from 1-60 kB/s. Zaeed = half of my weekly limit. If I'm going to download DLC, it better damn be worth my time, money, and download cap.

i wish i lived something like you do. lucky.

yeah im not buying, something thats worth 90 minutes and his another human doesnt sound like its worth the money, and its worth what, 15 bucks canadian. Yeah, thats one fourth of the price of the ****ing game, that just feels like a ripoff. I will eventualy buy this, once i get a pre paid credit card, i dont like credit cards, and then i will get it. Which might not be until, may or june. I hate why gaming companies (not just bioware, it EVERYONE) that release dlc, for something that brings an hour of gameplay has us paying roughly around 7 to 15 bucks, out of the many hours in the standard game that was worth 60. And when you compare games like mass effect too street fighter 4, both are worth the exact same price, would you pay 60 bucks for street fighter 4 or mass effect. yeah the world of gaming prices is realy screwed up. But since this is mass effect I will be buying all there payable dlc. i just hope that for future references that anyone that sells dlc too stop ripping us off.

Think of it this way, guys... If it is the 560 MS points, that's $7? For an hour and a half of game, new character, new gun, potentially new casual outfit, etc... That's less than a movie ticket (half of an IMAX/3D one where I live,) and aren't most movies around 90 minutes? And, once you leave the theater, that's it, it's over. No option to rewatch the movie, without paying full price again... Seems like a fair amount of $ in trade for the time you get. And, the nicest part? No one's forcing you to buy it.
