Hehe.

On the first day this thread came out, I didn't know Kasumi's last name was Goto.

I thought it was a typo, and that they were releasing information on a character that you had to 'go to' to find Kasumi or whatever.

I'm liking her vanishing trick, but I wonder how effective it will be on higher difficulties. I've got a feeling she's going to end up reappearing behind a group of mercenaries, give one a tap and they're just gonna turn around and shoot her dead.

I somewhat agree, but consider this:
Kasumi's level(s) on their own should take 1-2 hours.
Let's even ignore the fact that you might have some fun using her on a new playthrough (giving many more hours of gameplay).

Haven't you ever spent like $20 on a DVD movie? That's only 1-2 hours of content and it's non-interactive! :happy:

You forgot director's commentary and special features. 

BTW, DVDs are so Beta. Blu-ray is the way to go.

I get what you are saying, but DLC is being used in this case as a money grab. As PC modding has already shown, a good chunk of the Kasumi content was already in the game. When I buy a DVD, I know I am getting a finished product. I don't see the studio dangling little extra bits in front of me for more content. Sure you got those bonus scenes and all, but in most cases they were cut because they sucked.

What we have here is a clear cut case of content being cut from the main game with the specific intent of making us pay to have it implemented. I already bought the collectors edition. I veiw the pricingf of a game differently than I do fo rmovies anyway, so if I want to feel Bioware is charging too much, that is my perogative.

We are pleased to announce the release dates for 2 more pieces of Mass
Effect 2 DLC.

The first, you have already heard of. The Kasumi -
Stolen Memory DLC which we revealed back at GDC will be available for PC
and Xbox 360 on April 6.

The second is a new DLC Item we are
announcing today. There will be an Alternative Appearance pack where
Thane, Jack and Garrus will each get a new appearance to use in game. It
will be available on Tuesday March 23 (the same day as the Firewalker
DLC).

Looks like they want 560 Bioware fun points. I think they take microsoft points as well. Apparantly money is not good enough for them. Should work out to about 7.00 USD

I'd considered buying the DLC if Bioware got rid of the glasses. Jack's eyes and eyebrows are her best feature and covering it up seems like such a waste.

haha worth getting the dlc just to see that "oh crap" BAM BAM BAM
