Any chance you could give us a look at that new SMG that comes with Kazumi? What makes it different from the Tempest and the Shuriken?
Hopefully something more accurate, I got hugely frustrated with the recoil and how it affected your aim.

I thought it might be something like Halo 3: ODST's sound-supressed SMG. Fitting for a character like Kasumi...

Yeah we needed a hot sexy thief! Hope Sheppard gets a chance to nail her.
They need the DLC characters (Zaeed included) to have conversation topics on the normandy instead of just a little comment here or there, as awesome as this new character is after her one hour mission she'll just be a character to take on missions.
No dialogue options= a 'tacked on' feeling.

Seriously. I don't like the character design at all. Lets hope she has a killer voice actress to make up for that.

I'm simply praying that they've kept the Voice Actress from the voice clips posted on youtube; I really liked her voice, it wasn't something expected and it sounded quite cool. However, saw a comment (can't remember where) that they won't be using those voice clips. I just hope they mean they've redone the lines and not the VA.

Samara is badass as well, but take her along on Omega, that dark, flaming corridor before entering Afterlife? Wait until she's in the shadows and at the right angle her eyes glimmer; rather sinister actually.
BW seems to like shiny eyes.

To everyone blindly praising all the 'new' content we've had so far: They most likely had all that content ready before launch day. They didn't put it in so you would buy it new, thus netting the most money. They don't consider the fact that some people aren't able to access the internet with their computers or consoles. Why should I have to download stuff that was taken out? I don't want to steal the food from your child's table, but seriously... more trouble than it's worth.
I know, pirates might crack the PC version and make people able to get it free (still, I prefer pirates to ninjas... Guns > Katanas), but really... have ANY of your DRM methods worked for more than a week? I personally REFUSE to buy any PC game that has SecuROM or other harsh protection built in.
I have nothing against Kasumi (besides the POSSIBLE price of $7), nor the Hammerhead Tank (I am apparently one of the few that loved the Mako, so I'm looking forward to this greatly), I'm just against this belief most of you appear have that we've been given a lot of 'new' content.
I bought Mass Effect. I've purchased both books. I shall probably purchase the comics next time I go to a store that contains them. I may wait till all 4 come out. I will buy the third book. I do not support Micro DLC... Something that will take me longer to download than it will entertain me does not sound very interesting.
That being said, this is my last post on the matter.
With that out of the way: I wish she was a Love Interest, but am fine with her not being one... just give her some gorramn depth. I don't want a character that will sit in her cabin, and describe her great conquest into the stealing of the Mona Lisa without being able to tell her the Mona Lisa is a rather ugly painting, not worth stealing
Claw
P.S. To whomever may read this and question whether I have a life or not, let me answer that for you: No. I do college work at home, do my chores around the farm my family owns, and play Xbox or computer. I have little social life outside of my computer, due to the fact that my farm is 40 miles (about 60 kilometers) from the nearest town, which has around 1,000 people in it. I have Satellite internet, which has a cap of 1 GB per 7 day rolling period. The download speeds range from 1-60 kB/s. Zaeed = half of my weekly limit. If I'm going to download DLC, it better damn be worth my time, money, and download cap.

as an avid modder, i'll add this: i don't know if they've taken anything out, but the free stuff so far is child's play. gun models and textures are numerous and freely available especially for a well-known and lovingly worshipped engine such as UE. everything they've given us so far is about 10% of what could have been in there had they not made the game such a pain in the ass to mod, ostensibly as a means to fight "piracy". you can't even edit the ini out of the box without special tools whereas prior inis only required notepad. to add insult to injury, the DLC inis are completely unchangeable, also as a kind of hash check DRM. want to know why you have to stream in new te xtures instead of dropping them in an override folder? because EA hated that mods for their games, say Madden, made it more likely a customer would be able to keep a game new and fresh instead of buying Madden 04 version 2 through 7.Clawfur wrote...
I'm wondering if this micro DLC is more along the lines of EA's handywork. Seems like they're using their "The Sims" cash model; Put out very popular game, throw out some free stuff, then start putting in a bunch of 'mini-content'.

basically they're selling stuff to the community that the community would've come up with on its own except far more slowly. this has EA all over it after they watched potential profits swirl down the drain every time someone made a texture pack for the Sims. on the other hand, for bigger projects like a vehicle or a start-to-finish NPC with integrated dialogs, the mod community is understandably slower, but in this case, why bother?

A silenced firearm would be a very valid addition to tie in with the apparent theme of this DLC, everything else is a tad on the non-stealthy side of things, especially the bloody Revnant, sounds like a WW2 battleship dishing out the good news by broadside.
