I have it pre-ordered but I'm not going to install it right away. You need to have patch 1.03 installed and it's bugged up! Causes your game to crash frequently and hoses pickpocketting. DO NOT INSTALL PATCH 1.03.
DO NOT INSTALL AWAKENINGS!! If you install the expansion, it will automatically try to install the patch and you'll get hosed. Check the PC forum and you'll see all the havoc this patch has wrought.

You make it sound like it will run out if you don't get it right away. 
I am thinking for myself it is better to wait until they have cleared up some of the bugs in the patch before I buy into this expansion. Probably looking around 2 or 3 months before I decided to make that purchase.

Im trying to look on the bright side of the situation, gonna try to finish off a report as much as possible in the coming days so I can go geek mode on thursday without feeling bad^^

Potentially 12 hours for me. If I'm not working tomorrow, I'm going to pick it up at midnight. I may pick it up at midnight either way, but I don't know if I'll stay up all night playing if I'm working...

Prior to the patch 1.03 horror stories I was going to wait 24 days after awakenings came out. Now after hearing that some DLC gear won't carry over, I don't look forward to replaying an old save just to pick up Cailan's armor, otherwise my arcane warrior will be fighting darkspawn in his underwear. So when you do start awakenings let us know how the whole post epilogue equipment thing turns out.

As an American I can say that my preferred outlet (Direct2Drive) has changed its release date to the 18th - so its 3 more days for anyone who pre-ordered there as well.

Today is a difficult day. But it's my fault for finishing my "perfect" playthrough of Dragon Age last night instead of holding out on it to avoid these terrible hours. I got too engrossed in the game again and didn't want to stop. :< Which of course only made me all the more pumped for Awakening...

I preordered mine with the Next day shipping or w/e so I'm thinking Thursday I might get it, which is my dad's Birthday, so I won't play it until Thursday Night anyway.
I played my file through RTO, cleared out the stash and sold stuff, I think Rob has about 80-90 gold lol, geared up my PC with stuff I can carry over ( good bye warden commander plate and starfang, hello wade's Dragonbone plate and summer sword
Looks cool can't wait to play when I get it. Until then I guess playing Modern Wafare 2 with a few of my classmates over Spring Break will have to do!
