I've been bored for like the past week, just reading stuff on the forums and looking at the character trailers and other videos for like a trillion times. I can't even sleep because i'm thinking how awesome it'll be.

Yeah yeah, 24hrs. Thanks to work and girlfriend I now have 24 hrs to start a new character from scratch and play him through the whole game in time for Awakening. Yeah, right

At least by the time I'll get round to starting Awakening there'll be plenty of guides and fixes

I preordered mine from EA with overnight thinking that it would be like Origins, where people who preordered got it on release day and those who paid for overnight got it monday.

But no, EA hasn't even shipped it. So I went to Gamestop this morning and reserved one for tonight. I'm apparently buying two copies of Awakening. At least I wont have to worry about a scratched disk....

 Well, when I get home, I'm going to play some DA:O.  Then I'm going to do some homework.  Then I'll watch my show--monster--on TV, and drink beer (beer always makes me sleepy xD).

Then I'm going to get (much unlike my usual schedule) a full night's rest after Monster is over, and wake up and play more DA:O or work on homework.  Then school--Chemistry lab.  Then my friend drives me to Gamestop and I get both Awakening, Pokemon SoulSilver, and accompanying guides, all of which I preordered.  And lunch at Chiles.  =D  Then back to class--Chemistry lecture.  After it, I start playing Awakening.  x3

Right now, I'm in Computer Art, but can't focus so I'm practising my drawing.  Women's hair right now.  And some people have to wait 3 more days?  ):  That sounds like torture...;~;  You have my sympathies.

The gamestop I preordered and prebought it from isn't going to have a midnight opening Theres a place here that'll sell it today but I don't want to spend another $40 (if I had the money I would). So I called another gamestop nearby but they wouldn't let me transfer it!

Just a note: Direct2Drive has corrected the release date to 3/16 for Awakening. I contacted them about it earlier today and they went ahead and fixed it

That's from the FAQ--so most everything from DA:O except for the DLC/promotional.  Some custom stuff might not work either.

The FAQ is slightly out of date, the Return to Ostagar items will now carry over [they changed it a week or two ago I believe].

I'll probably pick it up tomorrow, though I'm willing to bet some money that the stores either won't have it or will charge more than the $40 asking price. I'm okay with $40 considering the Collector's Edition of the original was around $70, but more than that is a bit much...

Have you any idea what defines whether 'custom stuff' works or not? I have a modded helmet I'd like to port over...

That is exactly what happened to me with Origins... the PS3 CE version came in stock a little late so they shipped it out late. I was hoping Awakening would ship earlier like the other versions of Origins had.

Oh well, I had a couple friends with the PS3 version, I'll just hook one of them up with it. Or keep it as a spare disk.
